This was such fun -- I too love Robin's freewheelin' attitude toward crafts because following directions can be overwhelming and intimidating. I like the playfulness and that you all enjoy the meditative aspect.
Seriously, Robin’s attitude of “just experiment until you like what you have” was super inspiring. The process of creativity is just as important as the result!
loved this! i really feel like tarottube (and most people in general) are so much more creative than they give themselves credit for. really love that robin brought up that making a deck is a creative pursuit. 2020 sucked but i loved seeing people discover their creative side. id love to see that same boom of creative passion permeate tarottube!
I loved seeing everyone's creations! ❤ I love Robin's hats and dolls -- absolutely fantastic. I can knit and have crocheted precisely one thing, but tendonitis makes it hard (somehow cross stitch is less painful). My grandma, who is turning 97 next month, taught me knitting as a kid. I especially love everybody's wisdom around crafting -- use a pattern or don't, play around, squares can make anything, just have fun.
I totally get how cross stitch would be easier on the hands than crochet or knitting…it definitely engages less of the hand muscles. That’s so awesome that you learned knitting from your grandma…I’ve tried to learn to knit so many times and it just doesn’t take.
I love when my worlds collide. I knit, crochet, cross stitch (novice) and some sewing. But I do better with patterns and instructions. Except for crochet blankets, those I just put together stitch patterns I like. 😊😊
Brains are so fun! I struggle to learn any new skill without seeing it. And definitely for hand stuff, I really need to see it done to feel confident I get it.
That was awesome! ❤Robin !
💖💖💖
Well this was fun! I haven’t done much crafting in the last couple years but I should pick up crochet again. 💜
Personally, I believe making things is just good for the soul. ☺️💖
Really enjoyed this 😁 Being crafty keeps me sane

That was super fun. I’m sure several of us tarot-tubers are also into handcrafts, including me, knitting while watching all the videos.
Love it! It does seem like there’s a lot of overlap between tarot and crafting! 🧶

I totally agree that deck making is its own creative craft in and of itself and was super glad Robin brought it up! Creativity is good for the soul 💖

Totally get this! I luckily was able to learn crochet from a friend but if I had to relearn it today I’d have to go straight to RUclips 😆
