So after playing Top Spin 3 for many hours, it’s a great simulation of tennis! It’s not perfect but the way you have to get to the ball and time your swing is outstanding. Also I love the risk shots in the game. If it had the sound and a little better graphics of TS4 it would be a near perfect tennis video game in my opinion!
This is the best simulation of real tennisl, it took me years to be decent on it. Every bit of footwork and timing counts, plust the risk shots are brilliant, you have to really be in position to pull them off....just like real tennis. Ts4 is too rigid without the risk/reward shots, they add tension. Serve and volley is just so much fun to try and master too.This has better graphics, ts4 has better audio....I can't believe they got sloppy on the audio. They should have just Ts2 audio
The players are weighted. So important in any sports game....this is the best simulation ro real tennis, every bit of footwork counts, every decision counts, and the eisk shots are awesome, difficult but really rewarding....theres no risk in TS4 its, very good but too rigid, its an unrealistic balance of winners/undorced eerors by the end of the game Take this game engine, tweak things a bit and use it for a TS5!
Big ant/Big Ben take a look and eat your heart out. BTW this was developed 10 years ago. They just haven't got it have they. Ao some of the worst gameplay seen. Comparable to grandslam tennis which is shocking
I still can't understand why they did not copy paste federer's serve into top spin 4.
Looks more natural than what we've got today. The grunts are hilarious though.
Also this one had Guillermo Coria which makes it the GOAT tennis game.

Prefer the speed of this to TS4, which feels a bit too slow. But ball physics is much better in TS4
