I will always listen to Jose Carreras, whose warm voice, musicality, intelligence, passion, and dedication to his art always move me.
Thank you for sharing this heartwarming tribute concert to Mario Lanza beautifully sung by Jose Carreras. Bravo Carreras for honoring, with pride & admiration, the legacy of a music artist, taken too soon from the world.

The number of experts who dismiss Carreras is extraordinary. Fact is they are the ignorant ones. His early recordings attest to that. He was not the same after his illness but his courage and efforts to raise money for cancer place him on a pedestal higher than any singer.
@@jeffbetts9420 I agree, and would add he still performed, including taking on new works, after his recovery. Matters of taste may always be debated, but Carreras' career and humanitarianism supersede that.

It's dragging and bereft of tenderness. The voice is forced. Lanza is much better, also Di Stefano is better. Pavarotti is the best.
