Thank you so so SOOOO much for uploading this! I saw them here in Toronto this past Saturday and Im STILL on a high. What a great show. Thank you! This puts me back in a high.
This show was great. Second best som show I've seen from the 3 that I've been to.1999 at Avalon was the best one . Last year at big night live was ok but this one was way better. They're definitely better now than last year and Kai is great . I like the current lineup. Ben and Kai are a good team
That was a great time. I had no idea till after their set the opener was Davie Havok's side gig. I said it sounded like Peter Murphy replacing Lauren of Chvrches doing New Order covers. I am sure, as always, the old holdouts were bummed SoM didn't play anything from before '87 (other than the two they re-recorded in '92), whether for the rights war with the Mission or out of sheer spite for the Goth moniker, but I went in expecting it. What I didn't expect was Giving Ground, possibly my favorite of the set.
Brilliant recording Susie. You're missing a few songs from the setlist in the description. It should be Doctor Jeep/Detonation Boulevard Don't Drive on Ice Ribbons Alice Summer Dominion/ Mother Russia I Will Call You We Are The Same Susanne Giving Ground Eyes of Caligula More But Genevieve I Was Wrong Here Something fast When I'm On Fire On The Beach Temple Of Love Encore: Lucretia, My Reflection This Corrosion
Thank you, I will fix that here. I got it from setlist.fm, so you might want to go there and update it if you have time. I can't at the moment. Thank you very much
ONE of the greatesd bands EVER ! But to be fair, live they not performing so good ! maybe the recording was to close with the speakers ??? the sound was a mess, while there music is legendaric ! I have all there LP, dvd, singles and maxi singles. I love them !!! But if youre not a fan this is not gonna convince you ;-)
I thought it was all good but they didn't do my personal favorite songs which is always a downer. Walk Away and First and Last and Always -- but I knew they weren't going to do those because I looked at the set lists for this tour. RIP Ofra.
@@SusieDavidsonBrookl My big beef apart from Eldritch lack of singing ability these days is the programmed bass. They always used a drum machine from day one but the lack of real bass makes the music too robotic for me. Most of the music onstage is programmed with live guitars played over them. Its the songs especially the new stuff which I like which saves the day. Kai has brought something new with his singing and Ben is competent if not spectacular.
@@Heven-f9t Are you kidding? You must of been stoned on tranqs back then cuz the Sisters of 2024 suck. This version of the Sisters doesn't even have a bass player and Eldrich can barely sing. And I WAS there, you elist padoodle. I saw them twice on the Vision Thing tour. They were great once.
Guess anyone can put on a Sisters of Mercy show with fifty bucks worth of gear and a karaoke machine, what a ripoff, this belongs under an 8 foot tent at a county fair
Cool music for a while but gets boring after 20 minutes or so. No feelings in it. Old school Sisters fan here, so you must excuse this for me! Anyways, the new songs are almost as good as the old ones!

Glad you enjoyed it!
I saw them on the 15th of September and watching for the same reason. Great tour, I hope it was as good for them.
Absolutely insane show, you are a legend! Thank you so much for sharing this from a longtime fan of The Sisters ❤❤ greetings from Sardinia, Italy!!!
Their sounding great again. Kai is really bringing something to it.

Giving Ground!?!? 🖤🖤🖤🖤 AWESOMENESS!!
I was undecided about whether to see them or not in London next year - but they're sounding great. This video convinced me! Great crowd too!
Boston,what an amazing crowd
I was just at the show in ATL. It was awesome. First time I see them live. I enjoyed it very much 😊😊😊

I missed the female choire with the song More !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably best going to see the sisters tribute band the sisters of Murphy, I hear they still sound great.
I'd do both if it were an option.

Thanks for posting this Susie. What did you think of Kai singing Ofra Haza parts in Temple of Love?
I thought it was all good but they didn't do my personal favorite songs which is always a downer. Walk Away and First and Last and Always -- but I knew they weren't going to do those because I looked at the set lists for this tour. RIP Ofra.

@@Stevethesearcher The new stuff was mainly written by Dylan, as far as we know. Sadly he's gone now, those songs are excellent.
I just saw them in Cleveland. I’m 100 percent convinced that didn’t actually play or sing a single thing. It’s pantomime
Play or sing? I think it would be harder to fake that than to do it.
Thanks for saving me the $$$ to see this underwhelming version of SoM.
Clearly you were not around or conscious in the early 80s. They sound exactly the same- better even with the great tech now. I WAS there then...
@@Heven-f9t me too, you are full of shit or deaf
Still take them now over about anyone else. But I work at a small venue and see 3-5 shows a week.

HOW CAN YOU HAVE SHOWS WITHOUT A FEMALE VOCAL?
Guess anyone can put on a Sisters of Mercy show with fifty bucks worth of gear and a karaoke machine, what a ripoff, this belongs under an 8 foot tent at a county fair
You're anyone, give it a go and prove your point.
He not have stage presence
the band is better with the woman singing
Together
Which woman??? You mean The bloke??

About 20 minutes into any band is when I want to step out for a smoke.
