Thank you for your interest. In the Eclipse the temporary protocol is a method of making quick changes to the test parameters for a single test only. It is accessed by pressing the "set up" button next to the protocol drop drown box. Inside the temporary settings you are able to change the stimulus settings , filters, recording properties, and display properties. Please note these are only saved temporarily, and if you require a permanent change then you should change the protocol in the system setup.
Hi Francis! Yes, ABR testing can be used to identify the nature of hearing loss in people of all ages, including infants. Bone conduction testing is required to establish whether the hearing loss is conductive, sensorineural or mixed. Best regards, Shane
