    Washers as minis bases? Brilliant! You can get a box of washers for so cheap compared to specialty bases for minis. Gives the mini more weight too.

      Hello John ...yes this Was my idea and it works very good...in my past i use coins as a base ...but I think its better to save coins for New model stuff and use washers...you get a Pack with 100 or 1000 of them...stick also well on Magnet bases...it would be cool if you subscribe to my channel and thank a lot again 🤩🤩🤩

      Thank you so much...sorry mate for the late replay it makes me proud to see that my work is good for the modellers out there 😉 i use only wird and spin this over a brush...and the same i do with the barbed wire...here i use a wire that Was sell from the army painter

    I'm sure I read that the troops boots were brown and officer's black.
    Only saying because I painted my troops black then went back and changed to brown😞

      You can use both from them also like the germans...because this painting guide is for the early war british...look on the Top from the hät box....later there was brown you right👍😊

      I think you come closest to the dirty chocolate brown color that I see in color pictures from WW1. Everyone one else, even Vallejo seems to light to me. Thanks!

    Beautiful! Very inspiring...
    I need paints. I used to have old testors enamel paint 🤦‍♂️
    My scales are 1:100 and 15mm...ish 🤣

      Thank you very much mate....so i did the tutorials for 1/72 but the guide can also use for 15 or 28mm 😉 the ak Sets are great for ww1 ...you should Think about them 😁😁 in my Past i paint with oil paints but will never go back and change that way

    After seeing the amount of details a 1/72 human can still hold. I really want to buy a resin printer and start printing those anime figurines in 1/72 scale and paint them just for shits and giggles.

    Interesting to see that 1/72 isn't as hard to paint as it's reputed to be.
    But (nitpick alert) - why use John Philips Sousa marches as BGM? They're all distinctly American marches, not British!

    When you were doing details it felt like you had WAAY too much paint on your brush and it overflowed and overpainted when doing detail work like the boots and straps

    If you are going to paint British soldiers, then please play British music. The first was Sousa (US), anchors away next and then tell US Marines lol. Nice painting however!
