Jun was the very first character I played in my very first fighting game (Tekken 2) so she has a very special place in my heart. Not to mention her stage is one of the most serene stages + theme in the entire series

She is my favorite charachter of all time. She has great theme and ending in Tekken 2 great movment in Tag 2 it's going be cool if she back in Tekken 8

A tad bit late but I can confirm. I and many others were very happy to see her back.
I'm so happy they distinguished her moves from Asuka's in TT2 since Asukas moveset was basically a copy of that of Jun's. She felt more floaty and graceful unlike Asuka who was more rough around the edges..

Jun is my first ever fighting game main and easily my favorite character next to Ryu from Street Fighter, and I really hope she returns soon in either Tekken 8 or some other spin off. She was so interesting in Tag 2.

I love Jun and played her a lot in tekken tag 2
I was hype thinking she was gonna make a canon return in the last dlc for tekken 7. I guess with t7’s story mode ending, it’d make sense she come back for t8 to help Jin stop Kazuya. I really prefer her stance heavy Kazama style vs Asuka’s rush down tooth fairy dependent style.
Late to the party but really enjoyed this vid, any insight into the competitive viability of chars in tekken 2, 3 and tag 1 is really rare and makes it super interesting

The first Zellen game I ever played was teilen tag tournament and my instant favourite was jun the I found out she only appears in tekken tag tournament 1&2 and in tekken 2 XD

Jun Kazama is honestly Tekken's biggest mistake, No not in terms of her creation but in terms of actually using her.
The fact that this iconic character in this franchise has only been in 1 canon game and 2 spin-offs is ridiculous, she should at the very least have been in Tekken 6 since Jin took a very central role in that game and hell, her being DLC in Tekken 7 would have been awesome.
And that's not to say I do not like Asuka, I actually really like Asuka but she's just not Jun in the same way Jun isn't Asuka, they are too different to be seen as a replacement. I think this is why I don't personally mind that Michelle hasn't returned because pretty much anything in Michelle is represented in Julia, although I sure wouldn't be against them making Michelle as an alt for Julia similar to how Tiger was an alt to Eddy or how Christie was an alt to Eddy.
But yeah, bring Jun Kazama back Harada! It's about time she made a comeback!
