I remembered thinking “She deserves so much more!” A couple of years later, here we are 😉 and you keep surprising me with every new video, post or newsletter. I love the Atlas, I rented one about a month or so ago. Cool truck. LA is beautiful. Gorgeous pic at Sierra. I wish I had thought to shoot pics while I was there. I only got a few pictures. Most are NOT instagrammable, lol. Maybe next time! Great Video as usual Josie. You are the absolute best!

Hey Josie! I used to live in LA - went to dental school there. I loved your vlog and it made me miss LA soooo much more than I do everyday! You did LA such a justice with this video! Next time you should check out the beaches in Malibu! Long waves and big rocky cliffs make very good pictures as well 😊
There's signs that they request people not to take photography in front of the pink door house because there's a lot of people that disrespect their property. I would not recommend others to go here in respect for the owners.

Kinda odd that the hotel booted you out for literally giving them tons of free publicity. Between you and Freddy, dozens, possibly hundreds of people might have gone and even booked a weekend there! 😂 But, jokes on them, as Freddy said. ♥️🏵

The Sands hotel is beautiful, old, historic and full of rich famous people who don't want a bunch of instagrammers taking pictures. I'm not defending or judging just informing. I could have told you the manager was being kind to let you take " a few" discreet shots. They are probably booked several years in advance so I doubt they care if they are on your blog. Sorry but it's very different in SoCal.

omg... I agree with what you two were saying about The Sands hotel. Any restaurant, hotel, lounge, bar etc. that gives influencers a hard time are ancient, out of their minds, fools! I haven't been to a designer outlet store in a long time. Next time I'm in California I am definitely heading to the ones you and Freddy went to!What great bargains!!!! A note on the hotel management that kicked you out... I'm wondering if maybe someone started to complain and that's why they changed their mind. Even in that case they should have said something and apologized for telling you that you couldn't shoot pics after giving you permission. I would definitely call and speak with a PR person. At least then you'll know. if you find something out be sure and let us all know and we'll either know to seek out that hotel or stay away from it.😉❣️

I would contact the public relations person at that hotel and let them know your experience. You were giving them free press and access to literally millions of people. What a shame you were treated that way and to have that happen in front of others is frankly humiliating. You two are better people than me I would not have taken that well. I definitely would of went over his head! Not to mention you got permission and were a paying customer!
On Behalf of the staff at The Sands Palm Springs; I apologize for the "mixed message" they displayed. Back in the Day (60 years ago) Palms Springs was known as the "Playground for the Screen Stars" on Hiatus from filming AND being a :no Tell" playground for those having" illicit affairs"of multiple "persuasions" to put it delicately. The place is no doubt living up to its sordid "past"! Truly enjoyed the montage of Beverly Hills!
No one complained at all, we weren't conducting a photo shoot, just subtly getting some snaps on our phone, like every other guest haha! For literally 5 minutes then we were relaxing!
I must say that you downplaying the homophobic politics held by the Sultan of Brunei as "the little controversy about the owners" and saying that a petition for people not to support the bussiness of such a character is "bullying" shows you in a poor light Josie. The luxury hauls I apreciate, the luxury mindset of a privileged snob I dont so much. You and Freddie need to cone back down to earth and care for how you say things. Because sometimes supporting a bussiness boycott on a homophobic Sultan is worth more than a cute pic in a pink hotel.
Wow! Bless your sweet hearts for getting kicked out of a no-tell-motel that apparently rents by the half hour! I was appalled on your behalf that the Sands Hotel would treat their paying guests so abysmally, especially after you got permission ahead of time! That is crazy to me and not how the hospitality industry is supposed to conduct themselves. But then, I don’t think the sultan of Brunei, who owns the Beverly Hills Hotel, should extend new laws in his country which allow LGBTQ people to be stoned to death!! I definitely would have chosen another beautiful locale (as there are sooo many from which to choose) owned by people who treat LGBTQ, and women in general, with respect! Personally, I would avoid ALL Dorchester Collection properties specifically because of the owner’s heinous practices and unacceptable treatment of human beings! Anyone else who believes people should be treated with dignity and respect might also boycott these Dorchester Collection properties: The Beverly Hills Hotel, Beverly Hills; Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles; The Dorchester, London; 45 Park Lane, London; Coworth Park, SW of London; Le Meurice, Paris; Plaza Athénée, Paris; Principe di Savoia, Milan; and Hotel Eden, Rome! This sultan who owns these properties put into law a penal code that includes death by stoning, the severing of limbs, and flogging for “crimes” in Brunei such as homosexual acts and adultery! Probably would want to avoid padding the bank accounts of anyone who believes in and encourages such cruelty! Or maybe that’s just me. You do you, boo!
Seen that, been there, done that. If you want to stay ahead you need to become more innovative. Stop doing the same poses and go to the same places as everyone everyone else on Instagram. Seek your own vision.
Good for you? If you haven’t noticed, many people enjoyed this video and found it helpful because not everyone’s “seen that, been there, done that”. And I don’t think Josie is doing this to be “innovative”. She’s doing what she loves because she’s passionate about it and this is her way of sharing her experience. If it’s too boring for you then find another blogger to follow. No need for the negativity.
I don't think I've seen a Palm Springs trip from the influencers that I follow. Maybe you should follow someone who jumps at your every whim and let's the rest of us enjoy the vlog free from your negitivity.

A note on the hotel management that kicked you out... I'm wondering if maybe someone started to complain and that's why they changed their mind. Even in that case they should have said something and apologized for telling you that you couldn't shoot pics after giving you permission. I would definitely call and speak with a PR person. At least then you'll know. if you find something out be sure and let us all know and we'll either know to seek out that hotel or stay away from it.😉❣️

Gotta say I’m with George Clooney on the Beverly Hills hotel boycott. Each to their own but I wouldn’t give a penny knowingly to a business run by people who hurt others. I not sure the people who choose not to go there feel bullied into that choice, I know I don’t - more influenced by what George Clooney has made me aware of. I probs would avoid Sands hotel on the back of this video so it’s the same thing really.

I would contact the public relations person at that hotel and let them know your experience. You were giving them free press and access to literally millions of people. What a shame you were treated that way and to have that happen in front of others is frankly humiliating. You two are better people than me I would not have taken that well. I definitely would of went over his head! Not to mention you got permission and were a paying customer!

On Behalf of the staff at The Sands Palm Springs; I apologize for the "mixed message" they displayed. Back in the Day (60 years ago) Palms Springs was known as the "Playground for the Screen Stars" on Hiatus from filming AND being a :no Tell" playground for those having" illicit affairs"of multiple "persuasions" to put it delicately. Sands Hotel - I’m mad at they way they treated you. So sorry. Unless guests complained, this was rude.
No one complained at all, we weren't conducting a photo shoot, just subtly getting some snaps on our phone, like every other guest haha! For literally 5 minutes then we were relaxing!
I must say that you downplaying the homophobic politics held by the Sultan of Brunei as "the little controversy about the owners" and saying that a petition for people not to support the bussiness of such a character is "bullying" shows you in a poor light Josie.
The luxury hauls I apreciate, the luxury mindset of a privileged snob I dont so much. You and Freddie need to cone back down to earth and care for how you say things. Because sometimes supporting a bussiness boycott on a homophobic Sultan is worth more than a cute pic in a pink hotel.

Wow! Bless your sweet hearts for getting kicked out of a no-tell-motel that apparently rents by the half hour! I was appalled on your behalf that the Sands Hotel would treat their paying guests so abysmally, especially after you got permission ahead of time! That is crazy to me and not how the hospitality industry is supposed to conduct themselves.
But then, I don’t think the sultan of Brunei, who owns the Beverly Hills Hotel, should extend new laws in his country which allow LGBTQ people to be stoned to death!! I definitely would have chosen another beautiful locale (as there are sooo many from which to choose) owned by people who treat LGBTQ, and women in general, with respect! Personally, I would avoid ALL Dorchester Collection properties specifically because of the owner’s heinous practices and unacceptable treatment of human beings!
Anyone else who believes people should be treated with dignity and respect might also boycott these Dorchester Collection properties: The Beverly Hills Hotel, Beverly Hills; Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles; The Dorchester, London; 45 Park Lane, London; Coworth Park, SW of London; Le Meurice, Paris; Plaza Athénée, Paris; Principe di Savoia, Milan; and Hotel Eden, Rome! This sultan who owns these properties put into law a penal code that includes death by stoning, the severing of limbs, and flogging for “crimes” in Brunei such as homosexual acts and adultery! Probably would want to avoid padding the bank accounts of anyone who believes in and encourages such cruelty! Or maybe that’s just me. You do you, boo!
Seen that, been there, done that. If you want to stay ahead you need to become more innovative. Stop doing the same poses and go to the same places as everyone everyone else on Instagram. Seek your own vision.

Good for you? If you haven’t noticed, many people enjoyed this video and found it helpful because not everyone’s “seen that, been there, done that”. And I don’t think Josie is doing this to be “innovative”. She’s doing what she loves because she’s passionate about it and this is her way of sharing her experience. If it’s too boring for you then find another blogger to follow. No need for the negativity.
