The HUF x Crailtap collection begins tomorrow. As part of the release we wanted to look back on our 1999 Girl & Chocolate Tour through the US, where we had Keith along for the ride...
I showed them around St. Paul/Minneapolis this tour I was in high school I skipped class to go see if they were downtown and sure enough they were and I got to ride in the van and show them the cities…epic!
It’s crazy how much skateboarding has progressed. We didn’t know it then but everyone skated so much slower back then and the expectations were nothing like today. Watching this now makes me think damn I could have been pro back then too if only I had had the connections.
Dude, chill. You're talking about some of the greatest skaters of all time who innovated everything you know of today. You wouldn't have been shit back then.
@@_No_Bueno no I mean my skill level back then was good enough and so were many of my friends in Minnesota. I know a hand full of guys who are totally unknown who were doing pro level shit but because we were in Minnesota and didn’t have connection to the industry nothing ever became of it. This is always how it has been.
The triple set at the end, all he did was Ollie the rail. I have a friend who kickflipped that triple set first try and he was a teenager who was never sponsored or ever even known. It’s all about who you know. All this footage looks like cake compared to todays standards

Omg so much mike footage 🤤
Every era claims theirs is best. This being mine, I’m aware of my bias; but this period of progression raised me. Couldn’t be more grateful.
This was the best era... 👌

Had this 411 issue and I can't help but hear Ricky Martin while watching this! RIP HUF
Here we gooo 😂
Mike Carrol has the illest style hopefully he drops something
Carroll definitely MVP of this one
Ran this 411 into the ground with how many times I rewatched this. What a time.
Best team in the best era.
Love this
The word 'legendary' comes to mind...
Nothing better then great skaters in their prime
Probably the most stacked skate team of all time
Got even more stacked when Yeah right dropped.
This and the Alien/Habitat team in the same era were stacked .
Awesome !
Hell yeah
0:59 holy shit
Thanks!
Best shit ever. It's sad Carroll stopped blessing us with footy so long ago.
Back when these two companies were at their best. I miss my brother Keenan 💔 My Nica Cheeks🤜🤛

It would have been sick if Huf was on Girl or Chocolate. Prefereably Chocolate. 😂. The squad at this time was Iconic..RIP Huf x Keenan
Never forget this. You guys came to my piece of shit local at the time. Freestyle Skatepark in Kennedale Texas.
I was waiting for someone to point it out that shit was sick

bearings are literally exactly the same as they've always been....
Don’t forget that this is demo/tour footage and it’s a reflection of their best stuff.
And do you mean that if you went back to 1999 with your current skill level, you would be pro?

Was that manch in the first 5 seconds? Kids gotta be time traveling

Above is a prime example of when you should keep your uninformed opinion to yourself.
Carroll could do the same and make it look ten times better. Get it?
Whack. Not even bro. Recognize pioneers.
