The 2018 TT races ended in superb fashion as fans were treated to an epic Senior Race duel between Peter Hickman and Dean Harrison. Harrison led the race for five and a half of the six laps and it looked like the race was his, but Hickman had other ideas and on the sixth lap, he was faster over the Mountain section, managing to overturn a 3.7s deficit at Glen Helen into a lead of 0.8s at the Bungalow.
Hickman took the victory by only two seconds from Harrison with Conor Cummins thrid and he also smashed the race record by 48.064s to set a stunning lap record speed of 135.452mph.
Seriously what is there to dislike about this clip ? If you ride bikes you will know that what Hickmandid is absolutely amazing... Hicky 💯

Hickman killed it with the corners that year! I can only imagine how it feels to win these races! That should feel amazing for sure!

Even the also-rans ride in a way that is beyond my understanding. But these top few riders and beyond even being just beyond my understanding. Maybe even beyond the beyond. This is simply something else.

Can’t see that lap record being broken for a while. Although, everybody said that about 125mph and 130mph 🤔

Hi I took photo of one of your bikes at Goodwood fest of speed in 2021 which you would have been riding at the TT had it not been for COVID it was pale blue and black , it was one hell of a beast , big and powerful but at the same time very beautiful , a joy to see it

You have to go 137mph average speed to break Hickman's record. Easy to say and seriously harder to ride motorcycles faster than him. Smith's BMW is something special
People ignore greatness of Hickman. he got the character to win. great control over the bike and great precision leaded himself to victory.
