I’ve watched your videos since the very beginning and here is something I think every single time. You and I are different in almost every way. I am old enough to be your mother, I am a mother and grandmother, I am retired from the Air Force, currently work for an electric, heating and air company, live in Texas on a 35 acre farm and yet, I find you to be so sweet, approachable and relatable. Keep up the awesome job that you do. Take care.
I love watching you because you are so...normal. There are many youtubers talking about debt and economies, but most of them are weird and their tips to frugality are impossible to be followed by a normal woman. Thank you for sharing your life with us!
I've been enjoying the journey with you since the beginning, although I live in the UK. I really like your honesty about life and debt. I'm making some tough decisions myself about wants and needs and how I need to get a grip on my finances and watching you keeps me focused, so thank you!
I think this is my favorite video of yours thus far. I like how your partner shared his money beliefs. I love the Christmas tip idea for the waitress. This is so cool... I love the town Christmas spirit. Thanks for bringing us along. I look forward to your next videos. Merry Christmas!😊
You are so busy! Having a “non productive” day is productive! Your mind and body need rest to keep going at the pace you are. Keep working hard girl! Sending holiday love! ♥️🎄
I love how far that you have come on your journey. You inspire me to be more conscious of what I spend my money on and setting money goals. I was so glad that you decided to just pay off your tax debt earlier than expected. It’s those important wins that keeps us going forward to become debt free. 2025 is the year that I will finally start my company and I am so excited for it. I hope to become debt free by spring or summer next year. Thank you for your lovely channel and I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year 🎊 blessings and big hugs from Joanna in Sweden 🇸🇪
Love watching your vlogs with the little nuggets of info…im currently reconnoitering my budget for 2025 just got socked with some vehicle maintenance and property taxes bill so adjusting things to accommodate the increased taxes.
I grew up with real Christmas trees and making the transition to fake was HARD. 7 years ago I took the plunge on a nice fake one. Occasionally I miss the real deal but honestly I live in California and my tree sits in front of a giant picture window and I was always so scared it would dry out and catch fire 😬. I’ve had peace of mind for 7 years about our tree not burning down the house and honestly I would never go back because fake trees are actually pretty ok🌲
You certainly don’t have to take my unsolicited advice…. I I just want to caution you on speaking about your boyfriend’s circle of people he spends time with. I would hate for someone to recognize you and do some detective work to link you to the party you were going to do to. I appreciate your willingness to share with us and be your authentic self, but I don’t want you to have any issues. On another note, I absolutely love your style. You dress very elegantly and sophisticated and your clothing fits you very well. I wouldn’t consider your clothing purchases as completely useless because I think you look very put together and professional.
Good point. They will see at some point. These apps with the facial recognition and mutual links… eventually her stuff will be promoted to them. They didn’t even do anything wrong in fact I think it’s great people are still having Christmas parties in this day and age where no one wants to anywhere 😩
The only way you don’t incur liabilities is if one is dead. To live is to incur expenses. It’s the mindless spending that gets us in trouble with regards to financial health long term
The boyfriend has a name! Very nice that he made an appearance. I think I’ve seen all of your videos, but I don’t recall you saying your name. In my mind you’re the lemon girl. 😂 And the view from his dad’s house is beautiful!

For my 401k contributions done through work my employer just stops taking money once it is maxed out. Given that 401k contributions have no tax taken from them (from your earned income) it makes sense that they would take the tax off if you put too much in.
If your office payroll does your 401k it will probably automatically cut off when you hit the max. I use ADP and i set up the max allowed for each year and then it automatically cuts off and doesn’t deduct anymore when someone hits the max.
Love the tree!! Fidelity does show you how much money you’ve contributed to Roth and how much you have left before you max it. I’m not sure about 401k, but I’m assuming it would be the same for Fidelity.
Are you part Asian? anyhow keep coming with the vlogs ! fascinating about saving 10.5 a day but what I'm wondering is, should I transfer it to my stock portfolio every day should I put it in the savings account problem with my savings accounts are that when I open up any of my banking apps I can see all of the amounts at once so I tend to pull from those savings accounts when need be. I wanna put it in a place where I can't easily take it back out something to think about.

Love your videos, so honest👍
Love the vlogs ❤
I just maxed out my 401k at work last month...our payroll team simply stopped pulling that money out. At least that is how it worked at my company
