The story wasn't bad, joy is actually good. It's just that, the production team picked gayoung to be the second lead, they should've known that gayoung can easily outshine the lead effortlessly, and the fact that her chemistry with the male lead is so strong made the story difficult to watch after joy appeared. The first-3rd ep gave so much impact with dowhan and gayoung's chemistry.
I agree with this. Gayoung makes it hard for female leads to shine when she's the supporting role. It's not because she's bad at supporting roles, but because she is too good that she can directly be the female lead.
I am not hating on the actors at all only on the characters but I feel like joy should've been second lead. I personally think that Gayoung character had more of a strong first lead presence than joy's characters. I also think that Do Hwan felt more comfortable with Gayoung. I couldn't bring myself to watch the other episodes after ep 3 because I already knew the direction it was headed lol

He said as Dohwan he will actually choose Soo Ji rather than taa hee, they got closed in real life too until the media start exposed them then they have to stop their friendship. Sometimes I feel bad for Korea actress they have trade their feelings, relationships and friendships for popularity.
