The day she left the job, everyone of the staff caame out to the front foyer of the hallway all the way to the elevators and even some were standing on the steps. The second the elevator doors open and she was leaving for good, every single one of the staff applauded her. She was all choked up that the whole staff who was there on duty that day had come out to see her off. You won't read that story in the press. My aunt said she was tough but fair, and everyone liked and respected her. This is the only story that I have ever heard in my life when the CEO walked out and the staff liked her so much that they all clapped and told her that she would be missed. Some folks gave her cards and a few gave flowers. It was a very nice send off. That says A LOT!!!
You can see actual recordings of the scenes of her leaving in a documentary about Donald Trump from 2018 and probably also elsewhere. But yes no doubt she was loved and respected a lot.
