I built a PC using a Ryzen 5 5600 last week. It was for my girlfriend who isn't a typical gamer. But she is a Potterhead and wanted to play Hogwarts Legacy. So I built the cheapest PC possible, which can run Hogwarts Legacy in 1080p with 60 fps. The total price was about 700 Euros. Now she has a PC which runs the game she wants to play comfortably and she can use it for other things like work or playing Sims which is the only other game she plays. No reason to spend more money for AM5 because she won't upgrade anyways.
Recently upgraded to 5700x3d and oh my gosh it performed so cool in a games and cheaper then 5800x3d
