That 8-cube was hilarious! It just shows that it can (almost) never be very wrong to recube as the trailer in a volatile position. On the other hand, the way XG computes equity, you can bring your PR way down if you just don't recube for a few rolls in a row (they will all be close decisions and you'll be credited with an extra decision). This in turn means that the leader should be very wary of sending a cube because they are donating extra decisions to the trailer lol (assuming trailer isn't instantly obliterated), if the PR battle matters (not just your own PR). PS but obviously this ignores things like Michy's PR might skyrocket in time trouble, or that the recube might be actually necessary (not sending it would be a blunder, not sending it 3 rolls in a row would be 3 blunders..)
