Next time try it from some famous seller. It should be different. Some good martabak manis have less oily, less sweet and less chewy. For a good martabak manis someone can eat whole portion or at least half of it. If you can only eat two or three slice, usually to much butter or too sweet.

They're as good as the thick ones and you'll feel less guilty! 🤭 Try 2 versions, the cheese & milk (keju susu) and chocolate & peanuts (coklat kacang). Both of you can finish 2 portions easily and all martabak stands has them. Enjoy!
