Felix is surely developing into a very good athlete but the main advantage he has over many others players is his eyes treat more informations by second .. This is why he looks so fast and can play the ball off the bounce like it's nothing

In 2018 team championships in Sweden when ma long and FZD were training I thought no one except top 3 from China will get to that level of accuracy in training let alone outside China but seeing now Felix,Alexis,harimoto, Sora, lin yun run training I can say that the rest of the world player have improved a lottttttt in skill so the dominance of China in at lest in men’s will likely end with the retirement of both ma long and FZD because other players are not scared of the Chinese players like they used too. Example ma long vs ovtcharov 19:0 and ma long vs mizutani 17:0 and xu xin vs harimoto 6:0

I believe that the main difference between Alexis and Felix is on a physical level. felix is more agile, he is able to get to the ball better and often anticipate the shots, the opposite for alexis who often finds himself far from the table

Honestly every player who had been targeted by the CNT coaching staff enjoyed long term skill and doctrinal progression, like they were being coached indirectly. Sure their ranking might tank for a while but as long as the player was passionate enough to meet the challenge head on, they would come out the other end a better version of themselves.
On a technical level you could argue this, but Felix being 3 years younger has already reached bigger heights. Besides that there's still a good amount of hype for Alexis

But he's coming back stronger since european games where he destroyed everyone and won. (+1 clean win against truls at WTT Montpellier, and he pulverized Assar in pro A xD)
