Thanks for sharing, a query, why do you replace a bridge with a thermistor, I got lost in its purpose, if when heating it behaves more like a short circuit, what is its purpose? thanks greetings
See if my explanation makes sense to you. When charging rapidly, the circuit heats up and causes volt dropped. Resulting in increasing the resistance of the circuit. A NTC can just compensate this issue in rapid charging by lowering the resistance when heating up. It maintains the performance of the charger in rapid charging.
@@hinchan0131 thanks for your prompt response friend, it is strange then that they have not included it from the factory, do you know exactly where that bridge goes, I mean what component does it act on?, thanks regards
Exelente la informacion tengo un cargador con ese mismo problema boy atratar de hacerle esas modificaciones aver como me resulta saludos desde panamà 👏🙋♂️🇵🇦
@@hinchan0131 Thanks Hin, I found these components on AliExpress but I don't know if it's high quality, so maybe you can recommend me some brands of this components.
Replacing part: 1. Capacitor 400V100uF (replacing 200V100uF) 2. Thermistor NTC 10D-9, 10Ω 2A (Replacing the Jumper at J1 position) New part 1. Varistor 14D431K (one end is soldered to the live wire after the fuse, and the other end is connected to the neutral wire)
It works! Cheers mate.
Congrats!!
Hi, thanks for the video.
Can I use 10om termistor type sck-103 and veristor type TVR-10471?

Hi Hin. I have made all these changes as described in the video but the charger doesn't work at all. What might be a reason? Thanks. Jacob
Hi Hin. Sorry... it was a problem of the battery. Everything works fine after the conversion.
Привет. Можно с этим зарядить 6 или 9 амперный аккумлятор?

Its possible to use varistor 14n431k ? Thank youp

Can anybody tell me the exact location or circuit points where ntc resistor be placed, it cannot be figured out in the video. thanks
Look at 0:55 of the video, I have put the ntc resistor symbol on the circuit board.
@@hinchan0131 million thanks and your video is excellent
Hi Hin, can you please attach links for purchase of the necessary electronic components needed? Thanks!
I bought from Taobao, which may not be available in your country. Same parts could be found in Amazon as well.

can you make any dewalt charger to work like DCB119 vehicle charger?
Sorry, I have no idea
what are the odds you can give instructions in english, at least the parts used
Replacing part:
1. Capacitor 400V100uF (replacing 200V100uF)
2. Thermistor NTC 10D-9, 10Ω 2A (Replacing the Jumper at J1 position)
New part
1. Varistor 14D431K (one end is soldered to the live wire after the fuse, and the other end is connected to the neutral wire)
Is it clear enough for your?
Yes thanks a lot man
想問其他型號 都係咪咁改 謝謝
Super!!! Like!)
