The fine point at the front of the strip that your worring about lifting ...Hint if you use a tooth pick and a very very small bit of thin ca on the tooth pick and go aroud the outline of sharp points.. I have bin doing for years and seems to work well with holding very fine parts of strips down..

Skills, especially since you could have used a much more appropriate blade and handle 😀 I bet placing them was more taxing and time consuming.
