This game finally did Rain justice. After being excluded from every game between MKT and Armageddon, being the only classic character not appearing in MK9's base roster without an excuse (Chameleon is a bonus character and Motaro had issues) and being in MKX as an NPC, they finally did him good. His look is awesome, the man is so unlikeable that he's likeable, and he's goddamn cool. Mileena might be the one everyone wanted but Rain is the one I'm hyped for the most. Good job NRS. You did Rain good.
I'm not gonna lie rain seems like a much more compelling character than he was before He clearly says that he wants to be edinia's protector and in his ending he takes revenge on his father who abandoned him. While he's not a good guy at least he has a thought out character and motives that make things more grey instead of just wanting to be a god like in the original mk games.
I’m confused why so many people doubt and belittle him so much. He may be just a half god but that still means this is a guy who is on the same tier as Raiden and Fuijin. Even under the assumption Argus is also a half god, he’s still more godly and powerful then most of the roster theoretically.

I took it as Rain having murdered Kitana and Terminator studying her carcass (bones, organs, flesh, hair, teeth) found both a "mark" that incriminates Rain and also that they're biologically connected being Edenians.
I was a bit sceptical at first as far as his VA goes but maaaan, when I heard the whole delivery I must say, I'm impressed. Really good work on the actor's part. I honestly think he might be one of the best, if not the best, voiced characters in the entire game.

This game finally did Rain justice. After being excluded from every game between MKT and Armageddon, being the only classic character not appearing in MK9's base roster without an excuse (Chameleon is a bonus character and Motaro had issues) and being in MKX as an NPC, they finally did him good. His look is awesome, the man is so unlikeable that he's likeable, and he's goddamn cool. Mileena might be the one everyone wanted but Rain is the one I'm hyped for the most. Good job NRS. You did Rain good.
