Dovii Pond Update

Parachromis Dovii pair in 470 gallon pool pond. Fluval FX6. hygger powerhead and 800w heater.

its easy to forget how colorful the dovii really is , in some angles it has almost every single color there is ! nice fish :D

Thank you! And yes they can get really nice colors. A lot of it can be environmental. They can get washed out, or look really nice. Happy fishkeeping

Yes I just wish I would've started him from 2" in here. He was in a 20, 75, 125, 180 and now the 470 gallon.

Thanks, I believe they are both Nics. Long bodied and more greens and yellows to them.

Try some java moss in the wood work & a bit of dried almond leaf litter

Good idea , I might upgrade the lighting also so I can see the entire pond.
