Love Maggie Kirkpatrick. Met her in 2018 and she is such a beautiful person. She and Paul were true friends. Saw them both in Prisoner the musical in 1996. This is so beautiful to watch. Rest in peace Paul. Loved so much and never forgotten xx

That was some audience welcome for Maggie Kirkpatrick for a show that ITV bought as a cheap filler in the late ‘80’s when they launched 25 hour television. When that got the following it did, ITV should have shown it at a set time - there were nights Central were showing it at 2.55 in the morning. Thank god for VHS back then!
Yes, thank God for video players. Of course the irony is that, if they'd shown it at a more regular time back then, it might not have got the cult following that it did among students and insomniac night birds.
