Ma'am Reshmaji, a gypsy singer from Pakistan, was a singer to reckon with in this genre of music ! She had given an another dimension to it for his inimitable singing attributes !
Anyway, this rendition by Ma'am Harshdeep Kaur appeared to me to be equally good, if not better ! Altogether, it was a balanced performance ! How soulful was Ma'am Harshdeepji in performing it ! What a wonderful feeling it has been !

Lakshmikant Pyarelal composed the song that way because Reshmaji could sing like that. Lakshmiji also factored in the singer's strength while he composed
listen to eashwar satya hai, satya hi shiv hai from satyam shivam sundaram. he composed that only for Lataji. During those days Lataji was angry with Raj Kapoor and refused to sing it. Lakshmi said if lata will not sing then song will not happen. Finally they got some elderly man who lataji respected to convince her.
