Mesokanto La Pass | Tilicho lake to Jomsom | Full detail route

The video was taken on 2023/10/31 which crossing the Mesokanto La pass and Eastern pass to reach the Jomsom village from Tilicho Lake.
The Mesokanto Pass Trek is a challenging and adventurous journey in the Annapurna Himalayan range of Nepal. It takes you above the stunning Tilicho Lake, the highest lake in the world at 4949m. The trail offers rocky terrain and panoramic views of snowy mountains, culminating in crossing the Mesokanto Pass at 5,300m. The pass provides exhilarating views of Mount Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and the Muktinath Himalayan range. The trek is known for its peaceful and exciting atmosphere along the trail. Despite its difficulty, the trek is highly rewarding, offering splendid Himalayan vistas and a unique experience in the lap of nature.

When did you cross the Mesokanto La Pass?
The slope looks steep when you go down the Mesokanto La Pass.
Is it more dangerous if you have snow when you go down?
I will go in April. I am worried about the snow.

I think april would be a good time but mountains creats it own weather . So its always better if you have someone who knows the trail as the trails changes with and can be little tricky .And some of the sign board are also misleading. Yes ,you can trek . The route is jomsom -thini village -mesokanto la pass - eastern pass and tilicho lake tea house . But the view of tilicho is visible from mesolantola la pass too.

brother you did the pass just after few days i was at the lake...... and honestly the lake was not like this... i have some videos few days before you were there..... and the same thought occurred to me why few people do this.... thank you for this much guided video... will do this soon...
