Where I the Bible does it say that people have gifts that they Inherited?Does that mean they were born with them? If so does that mean even non Christians we’re born with them too? Does that mean there not from the Holy Spirit, since everyone has them? Or do they inherit them after they get saved? Never heard this teaching before. Where can I find more teachings on this subject? Who else teaches this? Where can I find books on this teaching?
Even none belivers are born with the gifts. The gifts are not a sign of christianity (spiritual)maturity but God's gift to His children. However the devil usually high jacks some individuals and repurposes their gifts, that's why even witches who have the gifts of healing can heal. A good example is in Acts 16:16-19.Generally principles of gifts is even if we part ways you don't take back the gifts you gave me.
If we are saved by grace through faith, our salvation and relationship with God cannot be lost if we fall into sin. While we were yet sinners, God died for our sins to save us. So which sin can undo that saving grace if salvation took effect while one is sinning. If gifts are the result of God's grace, no wonder they are of no repentance. Because, His grace is unmerited favor. Its not by good works or performance. So it cannot be changed also by mere works or performance that maybe are sinful. Those whom God never knew who performed works like prophecy and casting out demons, were never saved because their faith was not based on Gods grace but based on their performance. They thought if they will perform all those acts they will be saved. Ephesians 2:8-9 were so clear that only by grace through faith one is saved. Gifts and calling cannot be revoked due to sin, neither is salvation can be lost due to sin.
