HITC in NY will also not be livestreamed, so nobody outside of the attendees will be able to see the group perform. Also because HITC is organized by 88rising, you know they’re going to force Gidle to perform a bunch of songs from their English EP instead of their self-produced songs. Realistically their set list is probably going to be the usual TOMBOY, MY BAG, QUEENCARD, SUPER LADY, maybe POP/STARS, and the rest is all 88rising stuff. IMO that itself is a let down because I don’t really care for any of the songs on that EP. Also a lot of new lyrics for the non-English speaking members to memorize Whereas if Coachella invites Gidle to perform without 88rising, they can choose whatever songs they’d like from their discography AND showcase them to a much wider audience
