The Wilesco D415 Steam Traction Engine Kit is a fully operational kit for the enthusiast.
Mirror polished and nickel plated boiler, with a diameter of 1.8", length 7.3", boiler with water level glass.
Double action reversible brass cylinder, with flywheel, spring loaded safety valve, steam regulator, steam whistle, steam jet oiler and footbridge.
Smoke stack, traditional steering wheel chain drive.
Flywheel with a diameter of 3.2" with grooved pulley.
Clutch engaged gear wheel, permitting the use of the machine as a stationary steam engine.
Operating time is approximately 15 minutes per fuel charge.
Anodized aluminium wheels.
Finely painted, matching colours.

I got the kit 3 days ago and she's assembled
It was truly a fun experience
However the pipe work was awful
Was damn near impossible to fit the main steam
I ended up anealing the egsast to help it get into the smokebox
I suspect, now that i think of it, the frame where the steam chest sits on could've been bent slightly
But further than that she's a great little engine
And will be carrying the name Ansie
Hi. Yes that main steam pipe is a NIGHTMARE to get the threads lined up. I really thought i was going to strip mine.

In the video i made i did say how its a nightmare and how you have to kinda force things
While having in big letters do not force lol
The other thing is they weren't very clear about alot of things
Such as the main steam

on mine the flange of the window on the kettle came off.
you have any recommendations on how to put this back?

@@CB-RADIO-UK the boiler has a piece of glass to see the water level.
it's screwed onto a flange.
on my steamroller this flange came loose unfortunately
Got you. @@CB-RADIO-UK the ring where the screws go in to came loose from the kettle, thread lock won't help here ☹️
