I still think the best, and most clever, foreshadowing in movies is Shaun of the Dead. Whole movie was told at the very beginning. Edgar Wright is a genius. Plus Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are amazing.
I think I must be the only person alive who can’t stand any movie involving Wright or pegg.I find them profoundly annoying

I'm no Chinese Chess expert, but I'm pretty sure the cannon piece can only capture an enemy piece if there's another piece (friend or foe) between them. So moving the cannon piece there isn't really a very good move. Unless that piece was actually a rook, or there was another piece in front of that guy's king... that ain't checkmate.

IDK, but I think the Mulan's case wasn't interpreted rightly, the Chinese chess piece moved in Mulan was most likely to be a "Chariot" piece, it works similarly to a Rook in chess, hence created a situation with two red Chariot blocking any escape move of the black "General" (equivalent of King), a checkmate. If the piece Mulan moved were a Cannon, it would have needed one piece standing between it and the targeted piece to be effectively endanger the target.

In Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan they foreshadow that McCoy will be the vessel for Spock's consciousness/Katra in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock when at the end of the movie McCoy says "he's really not dead, as long as we 'remember' him." Spock transfers his Katra to McCoy by staying "remember" and McCoy is the one that tells everyone that Spock isn't dead.
I think you missed the much more obvious hint in No Time to Die.
There is no dripping blood after Bond shoots, meaning that the other person shot first and killed Bond, which I think was the intended outcome.

Don't Look Now is all about foreshadowing. For a VERY subtle example check how John Baxter's scarf is worn and the colour closest to his throat!

I have watched Tremors repeatedly since it came out in the 90s. I never made that connection with Earl. I am ashamed. I have failed as a Tremors fan.

Same thing happened in Squid Game. You must pay real attention before you realize the games, the fate of the characters and even the bad guy were hinted in through the episodes.

FACTS! Cool ranch is trash flavor
N0 Time T0 D7e was such a disappointment, what a cartoonish ending. The ending was predictable because they said too often to the press that they weren't gonna do what they did. It's "Star Trek Into Darkness" all over again. What I don't understand is, why did they fire Danny Boyle for wanting to do exactly what they ended up doing?
