How To Make Sure Your Halo Extension Is Secure On Your Head

  • People ask this all the time. And fair enough too!
The way the Halo Hair Extension stays securely on your head is because of the position of the wire at the front/top of your head, and the weft wedged at the back of your head under the occipital bone, and covered by your hair.
    Steps:
    1. Place the wire 2 inches from your hair line (this varies on your preference of how tight you like it, and your forehead size).
    2. Hold the halo in place on the sides by pressing your thumbs firmly with your index fingers pointing backwards.
    3. Using your index fingers, push the Halo weft down behind your head and down below your occipital bone.
The halo weft at the back should almost slip into place and it'll feel quite secure. If feels too tight then you can loosen it a bit by gently pulling the wire (at the front of your head) up and back with your finger nail.
Or if it feels too loose, then take it off and try again but this time try positioning the wire a little closer to your forehead. Then repeat the same steps. If that still doesn't work then try one of the other, smaller wires.
There are 7 nylon wires that come with your Halo. Each wire is a different length which allows for all head shapes and sizes :)
    The sizes are:
    - Extra extra small
    - Extra small
    - Small --- this is the one that comes on your Halo by default.
    - Medium
    - Large
    - Extra large
    - Extra extra large

i have a question if you have a side part. Do you just adjust it more to the one side?

I've watched so many different videos and still can't seem to get mine secure. It just falls off if I bend forward...

@@gtavglamour7108 Thank you for letting us know. I guess I won't purchase the halo extensions anymore and I'll invest more in products for my natural hair.
I've hear that clip-on extensions are bad too.

@@invataturiortodoxe1982 I’ve been wearing extensions for 15 plus years.
I wore the old school actual weave with corn rows back in the day lol.
When I say EVERY kind of extension, I am serious.
      Actual “weave”
      “Glue in” strips
      Micro-beading
      Clip in
And every other method of extensions/weave out there.
Halo Couture CAN leave you with a bit of a “sore head”.
Similar to wearing a SUPER uncomfortable headband as a kid.
Usually it’s pretty easy to fix in five minutes adjusting and putting all the hair in a ponytail and clipping it to your real hair on top.
I have three sets of these extensions bc IME they are by far the best.
Every other extensions, someone would always comment “you have extensions?!?!”
That’s one of my favorite things about Halo extensions.
Also, Halo are the ONLY extensions I’ve ever been able to put my hair in a ponytail, bun and even wore it in two braids on each shoulder.
All my other extensions have been hard to “conceal”. Halo are the only extensions I can wear my hair extensions completely up.
But, yes I agree with everyone that they can cause headaches. The longer the extensions the more so.
I live in South Florida and it’s too hot to wear weave 24/7 lol.
I use the halo extensions when I am going out or somewhere important.
I have so much more confidence with a full head of hair 👸🏽

Typically I see it done by putting the hair first then the wire then you drop the hair. Otherwise you pulled the hair and makes it difficult to pull through. My opinion
