I find it absolutely amazing that even though the writer of this song says she did not intend for this song to be religious, God has taken and used it for his Glory. Praise be to his Holy Name!
Jeeeeez this is unreal! I feel so lucky as a Barnsley Youth Choir member to have such a strong friendship with all you wonderful people in Tuks Camerata over there in South Africa! I and so many more will remember this video incredibly fondly for the rest of my life! Big love to you all! ❤️
Wow wow wow!!! I am a staff member here at the Nelson Mandela univ in Port Elizabeth. I know we have a great choir over here also, but Tuks with this song you have made SA proud. Great song sung very nicely by a great choir......
So during lockdown I have viewed dozens of virtual choir videos. We have made two ourselves. This is in another league for three reasons - creative vision, musical proficiency and technical editing. All are beyond anything else I've seen. And more importantly, the emotional impact is stunning. Well done both choirs - you are stars and your leaders are just wonderful. Fantastic best virtual choir video I've ever seen!!!
No words can accurately express how special this is and how big a debt of gratitude I owe to Matt Wright and all at Barnsley Youth Choir for what they have done for our ‘Banjo’. My thanks also extend to all at Tuks who have such a depth of vitality that is beautifully infectious. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the production, editing and logistics of making this video. It’s everything.
Congratulations on the hard work that went into this video, and thank you for the music. The individual artists have produced some really good clips, and the singing is of course utterly lovely. Respect to the technical team who reviewed, edited, and compiled all the different sources to produced one superb video.
Such a fab rendition in so many ways! Just sang this today for a fabulous 100th year Jubilee Concert w/ The Toledo Choral Society in Ohio, USA (a concert we literally waited years for, as it was originally planned for 2020!) Such a fun song to perform🎶
Yes! You have found it! The best song in the universe! And you have done a miraculous thing to put this together perfectly. No doubt this song will be sing down through the ages for millenniums to come. Come the New Jerusalem. The city of God. Let all the dreamers wake the nations!!
Wow wow WOW! A tremendous performance of a tremendous Craig Hella Johnson arrangement, expertly delivered via an expert team of video afficianados. So well done on every level - congratulations and thank you for putting this out in the world.
3:37 she's singing waist deep in a river?? There are so many little details in this video. Horses running around behind some guy. One girl in a unicorn outfit. And they sound amazing!!
I would love to know if the original score was altered during the intro. It seems like more than just repetition - there are extra alto and soprano lines. Am I correct? Just curious.
Thank you all for the wonderful support on this project! ❤️🎶 We love you!

Such a fun song to perform🎶
Fantastic, well done everybody.
This is a GREAT rendition ! Definitely the best I could find on youtube. Congrats.
Young people have beautiful voices. But when middle-aged voices are mixed in, the depth of the chorus increases. that's great.

Es la misma versión del Drakensberg Boys Choir del año 2012...

Is there sheet music for this composition?
