Forgiveness really does look like a wilderness when the offender shows no desire to change their hurtful behavior. Forgiving the same things every day sounds exhausting. Will there be water in the desert?

Thank you for being vulnerable. Many feel this way and it can be dry out there but God will meet you where you are. Forgiveness doesn't mean we allow ourselves to be walked on. It doesn't mean they were right. It doesn't mean what happened wasn't real, and didn't wound us. But it does mean we are relinquishing our desire for retribution. Sometimes that is the thing keeping the LORD from intervening.
