Welcome to the 2nd episode of alphabetically naming US cities from memory, and it's B's turn today. From Baltimore to Beverly Hills there are dozens of famous American cities starting with B, and I was able to name more cities than I thought. I hope you're enjoying this new series - thanks for watching!

In shambles that the site wouldn’t accept Busseyville
Next episode has to start with C is for Chicago!
Whew, you had me worried for Boston for a minute there, ha. We do have lots of B's... here's a few more - Bedford, Burlington, Boxford, Boxborough, Becket, Blandford, Brookline, Belchertown, Bernardston, Barre, Bellingham, Billerica, Berkley, Brookfield, Buckland, Brimfield, Berlin, Blackstone, Boylston
Bolton!! Also Bolton. 😅
Don't forget Bridgewater!
Belmont
I thought he said Belmont and Bridgewater in the video, no?
Guess any vaguely sounding British city, chances are it will show up in New England
really disappointed in you for missing Blue Ball, PA
Absolutely devastating
Only 15 minutes from Intercourse. He also should’ve got Buttzville NJ
idc about that I just hope people enjoyed the video
@@ChicagoGeographer Well without Blue Ball it's hard to travel to Intercourse, PA
And Bethlehem
Bethlehem, PA is the largest you missed that I know
For real, he got bath, and forgot Bethlehem lol.
''Don't eat mexican food in Wyoming'' is a sick band name tbh
Burgeoning brain, Big Beef Bro. Bravo!
how and YOU ARE THE SAME ONE THAT DID THE SAME THING WITH THE A EPISODE
I find it pretty funny that you were saying that there’s always something before “beach,” and you didn’t put in Beach, ND.
Guessing "______ Lake" is always a good strat for MN lol. Big Lake, Bass Lake, Long Lake, Maple Lake, Forest Lake, Moose Lake. And on, and on, and on haha
I'm a northern state and isolated town specialist on CityQuiz and the one in ND is called Bottineau. Also missed was Belgrade, MT, Butte, AK, Big Water, UT, Bishop, CA, and Benson AZ. Great video, love your stuff.
This continues to be extremely impressive.
I'm glad at least someone thinks so, thanks
@@ChicagoGeographeri think so too 👍
Bettendorf, IA, one of the Quad Cities!
You were thinking of Bottineau in North Dakota
Belcourt was the one but that works too
@ ah, ok. You said it was kind of a French sounding name so that’s the one I thought of. There’s also a Burlington out here.
The only ones I can immediately think of that you missed around Los Angeles (as an Angeleno) are Buena Park and Brea, which are down in Orange County, as well as Big Bear Lake, which is an incorporated city in San Bernardino County. Bethlehem, PA is the only other one I can think of outside California.
Big Bear!! 🐻 ❤️
A few others:
Baker
Big Bear Lake
Big Bear City
Beaumont
Banning
Buellton
Bonsall
Bishop
Big Pine
Bridgeport
A CA i think you missed is Buena Park, home to Knotts B-B-Berry Farm 🍓
And Bishop of course.
I live in WV so I’ll tell you some more cities you missed. Theres Buffalo (near Hurricane/teaysvalley), Brookhaven (Morgantown suburb), Berkeley Springs (eastern panhandle), Bluefield (Virginia border city), Buckhannon (county seat of upshur county), and Belle (Charleston suburb).
12:39 you could’ve gotten Bethlehem, Berwick, Bloomsburg, Bellefonte, Benton, and Blue Ball in PA as well as Buttzville in NJ
Can vouch as someone who lives in the northeast
Also boonton in nj
Iowa has Bettendorf. also for Missouri there is a KC suburb called Belton.
Funny thing is that's not even all the Chicago suburbs that start with B. There's also my hometown on Batavia. I think you forgot it on your name all the cities challenge too.
😍Batavia is great! If I didn't hate driving so much it would definitely be on my list of places to settle down.
So you got 233 out of a total of...1,720 B towns and cities...and boroughs and townships and villages (that wikipedia listed and this website accepted).
Honestly there are SOOOO many B towns...I think when I was done I saw Illinois lead the pack with 104 total...
Can't wait for the C video! I'll be sure to tag along when i get my maps done, as well!
I really enjoyed your A and B episodes. Your geography knowledge is amazing. Here are some Bs you missed. Bethel, AK
Biscayne Park, FL
Bisbee, AZ
Broken Bow, NE
Bandon, OR
Buena Park, CA
Bradbury, CA
Baldwin Park, CA
Beaumont, CA
Buellton, CA
Burlingame, CA
Brisbane, CA
Belvedere, CA
Blue Lake, CA
Bishop, CA
Brookline, MA
5:13 - SC has Barnwell and Bamberg. 10:06 - NC also has a Beaufort.
Hey! They picked Ohio for the start of the B episode! That was my suggestion! If you do the C episode, be sure to include Cleveland Heights, Ohio, my good old partially-Jewish hometown!
B...b...b... oh I know, Busseyville!
The only one I know that you missed is Brooklyn, MI, because that's where Michigan International Speedway is located.
I’m in NC near Raleigh and we have Bunn and Butner. There’s also a Burnsville, Black Mountain, Blowing Rock, and Beaufort that I can think of off the top of my head.
As a southwest Washingtonian, calling battleground a suburb of Portland made me laugh
Good effort in Idaho! Impressed you got Buhl. Some others I thought of: Bliss, Bellevue, and Banks, along with Baker City, OR.
There's also a Basalt (near Blackfoot), Bloomington (near Bear Lake), maybe Bruneau (south of Mountain Home), and Bayview (on Lake Pend Oreille)
burke, id
Minnesota here - all I can think of off the top of my head that you missed are Brooklyn Center, Burnsville, and Buffalo.
I was gonna say that Blue Earth is a pretty random pull but I forgot about the statue lol
I got Burnsville later in the video while doing Michigan
*Bettendorf, Iowa* ... come on bro how could a Chicagoan forget one of the Quad Cities?? I'm all cocky with the one I caught but would've missed like 99% of the ones you named. lol 😁😁
The one I can think you missed in Washington at the moment is Bothell. I'm sure there's others but I'm just going off what I have in my head easily.
@ 00:55 Brooklyn Center borders Brooklyn Park, so you could have picked up both for MN right there
There’s Brisbane and Burlingame both south of SF. Also I’m from Berkeley so it cool to her you mention it. I didn’t know there was one in Illinois.
Watched to see if you would name my hometown, and you certainly didn't disappoint
As an Oklahoman, no one will ever fix our broken arrows or broken bows :(
this is unacceptable i am so sorry
As a Hoosier I can’t believe you forgot Broad Ripple (the Indy suburb), Brazil (where Orville Redenbacher came from,) or Bridgeton home of the Covered Bridge Festival!
Fun seeing the hometown from MN in this episode!
Bowbells, Bottineau are the ones in ND
Growing up in Baldwinsville , NY I was shocked to see you get that.
really cool! i just visited belle chasse, LA yesterday, and i was hoping you’d get bridge city too
Some towns that haven’t been mentioned that you missed:
Bisbee, AZ
Ballston Spa, NY
Bay Minette, AL
Belle Fourche, SD
Brighton, CO
And of course Butler PA where the assassination attempt happened
Others for Georgia include Buckhead (the town in central Georgia, not the part of Atlanta) and Buford.
Being very generous with your definition of ‘city’
B for Big Beef Cow
Breezewood PA. Famous interstate exchange.
a few i thought of
Bethel, AK
Blue Ridge, GA
Bisbee, AZ
Booker and Borger, TX
Briggs, TX
Big Spring, TX
Bluefield, WV
*Bethlehem, PA*
and rip Hawaii.
hehe i used to work in bee cave, i was so excited to learn that you're a knower. also re: your buda question, i've always said like byuda
In PA, there is also Bradford, Bristol, Bedford, Berlin, Bridgeport, Burlington, Bethlehem, Blue Ball, Bloomsburg, Benton, Benson, Blue Bell, Broomall, Breezewood (not accepted in the quiz though)
The biggest ones you missed in Nebraska are Beatrice and Blair, which have just over 20,000 between the two of them. Still, you got Boys Town! By the way, it's a place for boys with various different problems affecting them, like mental health issues or neurological disorders for example, where they can go and get help with treating them.
I was friends with two kids in elementary school who had to go there for a bit because of autism and other things like BPD that weren't being properly treated, and therefore caused issues for the other students in class. They were pretty well-meaning kids, but just had untreated problems that needed to be dealt with for their safety and ours.
The big one in Missouri you missed is Branson West, because its easy to remember. There's also Bellefontaine Neighbors in STL suburb
How abt Bar Harbor Maine?
You missed Bluefield WV/VA
Bonsall, San Diego Suburb; Baldwin Park. You also missed Baldwin NY on Long Island
For Virginia and West Virginia, each also has a city called Bluefield, and they're close together, just across the border from each other.
Me: silly CG you missed these five B towns that I remembered and you didn't!
CG: proceeds to list out 20 B towns I've never heard of
I think the biggest one you missed is Bethlehem, PA. You also missed Big Sky, MT
California is gonna go crazy on the S episode
Buda could come from the old Hungarian city of Buda, nowadays one half of Budapest.
Was hoping you would get my hometown of Boiling Springs, SC, there is a Boiling Springs, NC as well btw.
Was thinking Blairsville, Brookville, Bradford, Bedford , Bellefonte, and Bald Eagle PA. I forgot my own home town which was one you listed , lol.
missed a couple philly suburbs: blue bell, bala cynwyd, bridgeport, buckingham, bristol, bryn athyn, boyertown, etc
I recently had a road trip to Burns Flat, OK. I’m not sure if it’d be big enough to be included, though.
Still so impressive how many tiny place names you remember!
BYOO-da, though I refuse to use Texas pronunciations of many things and go with BOO-da. The last vowel is a schwa "ə."
The only Top 100 Texas city you missed was Bedford, which is in-between Dallas and Fort Worth. It's around 50k and I know nothing else about it. A little outside the top 100, but over 25k, are Balch Springs and Belton. No reason for you to know them.
Your biggest TX misses are probably Bellaire, which you've mentioned before; Big Spring; and maybe Borger, which is one of the panhandle cities above 10k (along with Canyon, Dumas, Hereford, and Pampa). Nothing to be that upset about.
It's not surprising that Texas has a city named Bowie, which they actually do pronounce correctly (BOO-ee). That's useful in coverage quizzes, filling a gap between DFW and Wichita Falls. I missed Brady the first time I tried doing a HugeQuiz coverage map of Texas. Otherwise, I think I had the rest of Texas covered. Burkburnett is just north of Wichita Falls just before the Oklahoma border.
Others that I think are 20-25k include Benbrook, Boerne, Brownwood, and Brenham. Again, there's little reason for you to know them.
berwyn, IL!
this is the only city I missed that I'm actually disappointed about missing
Also a Berwyn, PA on the Philly Main Line
You got to combine all of these at the end and see how much of the country you have gotten
You've travelled through Bettendorf and Bondurant IA if you have driven west on I80
As a native Long Islander, you missed Brentwood, Bellport, Babylon, Bay Shore, Brookhaven, Bohemia, and Blue Point (probably others) for New York 🙂
When you get to the S list, remember that KY and SC also share a Simpsonville.
All I can think of for Washington is Bothell, Bonney Lake, Brewster, Bridgeport and Benton City but I'm sure there's a few more
Beebe, Arkansas is pronounced bee-bee. Other places there are Benton and Bryant (Little Rock suburbs). Also Batesville, Bald Knob, Bradford,, Brookland, Bono, and Bee Branch
Some people pronounce Buda, TX as “b-you-duh”, others as “boo-duh”.
I thought you were thinking of West Bloomfield, MI, but I forgot about the city you actually got.
Some misses:
Belle Fourche, SD
Bangor, MI
And I think you missed Beulah, MI?
No Boring, Oregon? Paired with Dull, Scotland?
I hope to see Normal, Illinois, too, when it comes to it!
He got Boring
I didn't know you could type any state's initials after the city while having the search set to a particular state when you think of a city that's in a different state to the one you're on/in. I thought you had go down to the state you know its in or have the search set on every state.
Apparently there are only 4 towns in Kansas with the letter B. Only one I've heard of was Bonner Springs (suburb of KCK)
Bridgeport, CT is on Long Island Sound.
Mississippi: Batesville, Bay St. Louis, Bay Springs, Belzoni, Benton, Bogue Chitto, Bolton, Braxton, Brookhaven, Brooklyn, Bude
Bethel AK was sad to see missed😢😅
BRIDGEWATER, MA REFERENCED!!! GRAHHHHHHHH
There's a Burlington Kansas. My dad's home town. Not a big place though only about 2500 people.
Bessemer City is North Carolina and also fun fact there is a Bolivia, NC.
A couple you missed in IL: Batavia and Benton
Little sad that he started a new quiz instead of leaving the A’s cities already named. I was hoping to see the finished product at the end of the alphabet
I will compile all the maps into one at the end of the series!
Cities I knew of outside this video:
FL: Bunnell, Belle Glade, Bartow
MD: Boring
NC: Bryson City
SC: Batesburg-Leesville, Belton, Boiling Springs, Bowman
Arizona has bisbee, bumblebee, bagdad, benson, and black canyon city. Also bluffdale, boulder, Bryce Canyon city, and bullfrog in Utah
Little sad you missed minnesotas battlelake, Barnesville and bagely but you got bemidji
Biggest city you missed in every state (with populations):
Alabama: Boaz (10,104)
Alaska: Bethel (6321)
Arizona: Benson (5353)
Arkansas: Benton (35,016) (not to be confused with Bentonville)

North Carolina: Belmont (15,012)

Oklahoma: Bethany (20,823)
Oregon: Bethany (31,350)
Pennsylvania: Bethlehem (75,792)
Rhode Island: Barrington (17,153)
South Carolina: Boiling Springs (10,405)
South Dakota: Brookings (23,370)
Texas: Bedford (49,940)
Tennessee: Brownsville (9,787)
Utah: Bluffdale (17,015)
Vermont: Bennington (15,327)
Virginia: Burke (42,312)
Washington: Bothell (48,151)
West Virginia: Bluefield (9639)
Wisconsin: Beaver Dam (16,710)
Wyoming: Bar Nunn (2985)
Biggest city missed overall: Buena Park, California (although imo your only "bad" miss this video was Bethlehem)
I went to Mall of America in September. First time ever in Minnesota.
You missed Bethlehem, PA and Bloomfield, NJ where my wife is from.
... you got Bethel, Connecticut but not Bethel, Alaska?
also, to give my extras for Oregon, since it's where i live and know best - Boardman, Baker City, Bay City, Bandon, Blodgett, and Beaver (the site may or may not take those last two, i believe they're both unincorporated)
You missed Belton, Tx lol. My hometown
Iowa: Bedford, Belle Plaine, Bellevue, Bettendorf, Bloomfield, Bonaparte, & Boone
9:35, Beebe is pronounced “Bee Bee”!
For Oregon some you missed
Baker City
Banks
Bandon
Beaver
Brooks
Bly
Brownsville
missed southern New England spots of note as a New Englander:
Brookline, MA (often mistaken as a neighborhood of Boston but is in fact a separate town; notably portions of Boston University are in Brookline as well as the birthplace of JFK)
Barrington, RI
Brookfield, MA
Burlington, MA
Boylston, MA
Boxford, MA
Belchertown, MA
Branford, CT
aaaaand that's about it that I think are potentially gettable for a geography nerd that is not from the region
He forgot Bennington, VT. And Barre City (or town, I forgot which one). Edit: and Berlin, VT.
He also forgot Bradly, CT. And Bernardsten, MA. He forgets so many😢!
@@markmayer8863 It's impossible to forget something you've never heard of!
How did you miss Big Timber MT and Barbecue NC?? 😂
There is good mexican food in Wyoming there's a couple of good places in Cheyenne
Bro forgot blue ridge
4:28 my town! Bro forgot Bennington 💀
