Lara Fabian is a great example of use of resonance - Even in the supposedly thinner sounding heady mix she still gets a wonderfully rich and warm sound, not thin or strained at all. Whitney and Aretha in their prime were of course truly spectacular! Their voices were a force of nature.
Aretha sounded so effortless and impassioned in the mid fifth octave, it's simply magical! 😯 I also thought you would use Pink on D5 for chesty mix and Barbra on E5 / F5 for heady mix, those are some of their *significant* high notes. 👍🏻

Great concept for your video. I would like to see this concept done more, but with focus on the singers going from chesty to even to heady the higher they belt, then move on to next singer in the video. I want the side by side difference using the same singer, so I can hear the difference in the singer vocally more easier.
I have recently learned that belting and mixing are kinda 2 different things, and that u either use full chest to a point or u mix where u kinda sing in head voice but in way that imitates a belt. And it does make sense as most of the 'balanced" ones here just sound like less tense or forward placed chest belt, like they still sound exactly like chest voice
Also it would be great if Celine was in Lara's place on the thumbnail, putting the 2 members of the trinity in their usual places and then putting Lara in Celine's place implies some things at least... Also really nice editing way!!

Jojo still has a balance to me. Whitney is the epitome of chest mix. Streisand and mariah balances although early mariah (song so cold) is quite the chest head mix.
JoJo chesty mix is beautiful and Whitney F5 sounded balanced at first till I listened again it's chesty but beautiful. Mariah's mix has always been beautiful on a good day on a nodules day it's mostly chesty. Singers like Tori Kelly switch between heady and balanced mix. Not surprised about Natalie Weiss she's a vocal coach and Kelly Clarkson to me sounds chesty but I love it regardless. Christina is always chesty but has a beautiful tone and Lea Michelle to me is mostly chesty. Beyonce is another singer who is mostly chesty but balanced a lot of times too and has one of the best voice in this generation. I prefer a chesty mix to a heady mix, we are all humans the voice can't be perfect all the time. I think the most important thing is how the singer uses their instrument and that is what makes them stands out no one cares if they're chesty, heady, balanced, shouty, loud, emotionless or whatever.
I think you should've use only mezzos / sopranos for each example, because sometimes some people confuse balanced mezzo with chesty soprano (Ex: the demi example. ) Also sometimes the vowel can be confusing for some people, like oh generally have a "darker" sound than "a" Overall great video.

Very Nice video overall, but you could have used very much of Celine in the chesty, balanced and heady notes. And generally you could have used a greater diversity of vocalists, around half of the chesty notes are Jojo and half of the heady notes are Lara. And since you used all the trinity (+Lara) except for Celine, I thought that Celine would be a perfect fit here, she has amazing, Perfect and stunning notes of all ratios in all the range you used. A very pleasant surprise was the use of Aretha notes!! And also there could have been some Barbra in the video :P
