I at the age 19 had my son , when he was 3 found out he has autism I had no clue to what that was in deep denial. I would be in deep depression I would pray to God that he would change him and he would talk because he was non verbal . Now he is 33yrs of age he is a blessing and he talks too much now lol I say this because I know exactly what this sermon means when the pastor said I didn’t sign up for this but God has taught me love and patience. So I take as a compliment as God knew I was strong enough to handle it. The Special Mother by Erma Bombeck is very uplifting. Stay strong because God is definitely faithful🙏🏿
This is the exact message I needed. As a single mom of 4 for the past 17 years, I’m tired and came to the end of my rope and not only felt I couldn’t continue but no longer even wanted to. This message was straight from heaven for me and breathed the life, hope and encouragement I needed back in my bones to finish and keep going. I thank God for this word. As a mom of a miracle baby, I stand in agreement with the prayer for those women seeking to become mothers. My husband and I struggled for almost a decade to conceive.. I am a living a witness that God is able. Now let me tell you this, the journey wasn't easy. In fact our son arrived at 23 weeks and we spent 6 months in the NICU, but God. If you saw him today you wouldn't believe he was 1lb 7oz at birth, spent ten weeks on a ventilator and came home on oxygen. God is able! I know Hope deferred makes a heart sick - been there! But I also know a God that keeps his promises. Stand flat-footed on the promises of God and watch Him move!!!
