- Rolling out of the Workshop: I have prepared two “historic” diecast builds to send and race at Bathurst Diecast Racing.
Check them out here: / @bathurstdiecastracing
One is a Matchbox AMG Mercedes, with has returned from the USA after competing in Quarter Mile and Road Course events at Diecastracerx. It is a stock racer, however it will be interesting to see how the suspension shod MBX handles the hard fast surface at Bathurst!
The other is a Norev casting of a Citroen GT. Originally build April 2020, built for Fat Track, and a heavyweight. Again, it will be a good experiment to see how it handles this demanding Track!
1:64 Diecast Racing, Matchbox, Hot Wheels, and the like from the Central Coast of NSW, Australia!
I would also like to thank Simon of Hot Car Track for the Car Carrier Trucks seen in this video.

diecastracerx , for near 10 years was the pinnacle of independently run mail in events in many formats. Also had a fantastic year long pick the winner competition. Sadly he pulled the pin the end of 2022. Below is a link to his 2022 Quarter Mile Championship.

They both look good -- and fast. Nice work. I don't want to be in front of you coming through either. lol. 🙂 But the odds are.....
Cheers Numb. I have a build in my head for this track, but no time at present. Plenty to analyse watching the cars run down this fast, hard, long outdoor track! Should be fun to watch! Marc D
I miss Diecastracerx. I never got to race there, but I was building toward it.
Also a great neutral venue to race at... The promoter did not have "irons in the fire." Plus the entries were not limited, and the timing of the event was known and cyclical. Great for me, as could get an entry, and preplan builds/postage time. Cheers Marc D
I am busy with a make over as we speak...Remember the Green, Number 85, Matchbox Lazer wheeled Ford Sierra XR4 Cosworth you sent me over a year ago??... It was pretty banged up... It's getting a freshen up... Not a racer... Just a referbish... Thanks again...
Great !! Will look out for it!
I remember that car Marc, it ran very well and looking at that footage brings back some great memories✌
Thanks Simon!
Yay, finally gets to race!
Yep the car carriers should look familiar too! Cheers, Marc
Marc, have to confess that I got more than a little giddy seeing the footage from Hot Car Track 🎉🎉 No one belted out a ripping "Blackfiyah Tiyahs!" like Simon ❤
Yeah, caught Lee's latest just a bit ago, glad your builds made the journey and I just have to see how they run there!!! Cheers from the States 👍
Cheers Chris! Yes, the lot I sent are exploring different aspects/atrritubes of the track, to hopefully get some insight as to what may really work there best! All fun Cheers, always good to see you!
At the local club tonight, for dinner with my lady, chilling.
I have some unseen footage of Vantastic entries, some with Backfires, some not, but these were shot on the original track (like this) and really highlight the difference in handling BFs make on fat track. I will put on my list to do a vid. Cheers. (Vantastic was run on shorty)
@@cutrockr-diecastracing2773 Road Warriors, Vantastic, Simon had a great show all the way to his final build 👏
Pretty good man. Thanks for sharing.
Just finished watching your latest vid. Thanks, cheers
They both look great Marc, good luck mate.
Thanks HWBs. Be great to analyse the results on this track, for builds into the future on it.
Great stuff my friend..
Thanks Brian! Hope all is well there for you! Marc D
Looking good mate. Nicely done and best of luck to you. Cheers. 🤙🏽
Thanks! Hope all is well for you! Cheers Marc D
@@cutrockr-diecastracing2773 Nah yeah mate no worries. Should have the car back on the road Monday. YAY! I can get out again, hopefully find some new stuff. While I been stuck home, I've been prepping up for the next few events coming up from GDM and my latest series "What's in your Garage"? Next event will be the Eliminator. 192 cars, 6 Divisions of 32. Going to need a lot of drivers. Following that up with
Euro-Mania, a 32 car, 6 round tournament.
Cheers. 🤙🏽
two good looking speeders there mate
What's a few more race scars! Hehe, cheers, Marc D
Good luck at Bathhurst with these! Cheers … 🥃
Should be fun watching......with a beer!
Awesome bro
Thank you Zelda! Cheers Marc D
Cutrock-R.. Synonymous with cracking fast race cars... Just watched the gold Delorian on 3DBM yesterday... Best of luck with these two.
Thanks for the generous comment Vee!
Could never figure why some event promoters only want new builds. I love the history running historics! Keep on driving!!
