Now that we are moved into the new garage, we’ve been taking our time to revive old projects. First up on the plate was the Manco Deuce with custom suspension and a Ninja 250 shifter engine. We’ve always struggled to get the shifter mechanism correct because of the force exerted by the shift lever and the articulation of the back suspension. We came up with a design that uses a hard linkage using heim joints from the lever to the rear suspension. Then that hard linkage connected to a B&M 3’ shifter cable (link below) that can flex to allow for the suspension travel. It ended up working great and we took it for a rip to test it out!
Thanks for watching, stay safe and stay tuned for the next video!

man you guys are revving that thing OUT for only going like 20mph 😂🤙🏻
Yep lol
Think it needs smaller sprocket on rear axle..
@@davesonsadventures474 yeah that's what I was thinkin
Clutch may need adjusted
@@davesonsadventures474 Yea. It would be better with a bigger engine instead LOL. Those 250s are so weak.
I see u hitting them corners like cleet at the freedom factory 😁😁
I love how the sound and speed are totally not what you'd expect lol
You guys have come a long way. So proud of you boys. Still showing us the young bucks are gonna make it in the coming years.
Honestly watched u guys for a solid while. Watching u guys grow up and develop skills is mad. Take a second to think back to the first ever project amazing changes.
Glad to see yall got a shop and evolving the channel congrats guys keep up the good work
The starter solenoid can weld itself together due to low voltage or high amp draw from continuous prolonged starting. Hitting it on something knocked it lose but it'll happen again if the battery isn't kept charged up. Great work on the rest of it
this is why you want the petcock on the tank lmao
This was my favorite build, by far. Glad to see it back and hope to see more builds like it!
I love that you guys tow with the C10
Still watching 2 years later
Man I just love this thing. Keep up the great work boys 💯👍🏽
Glad the deuce is back, love this build!
Great to see the deuce again. Nice work on the clutch cable that should hold up well. Happy New Year to everyone at Build Break Repeat!
Man I love this build guys really great job that 250 engine gets it going pretty quick to
Badass Side by side
I was hoping for a new Deuce video; I'm glad to see it's running better
Awesome guys! New Year starting with a great vid drop that has over 700 views in first hour.Let's see 200K by spring!
Love the new intro song
Man that thing is ripping heck ya
Looks awesome! You gotta bring that thing out. after all this rain its pretty muddy so you should be able to get that thing caked!
Stiffen up that suspension
Yeah, I'd tip that thing over with suspension that soft.
Looks and sounds to need geared up some. I think it needs a smaller sprocket on the axle.. and or some clutch adjustments
Yeah buddy 👍
Happy New Year, fellas
Two throttle return springs will help the shifter return. One in front and one in back. Should help.
Badass build Manco Deuce poor mans side by side we have a similar build a Manco Silver Fox and a Manco Dingo Deuce
luv me a deuce
Excellent video as always, do miss the original intro though. Longtime subscriber
Seems like it's still idling a little high, love the build though!
mantap bang
Sounded like a 2 stroke for a little!
8:46 block breather hole on the tank
Did you guys put a chain tensor? And how did you guys did it
Hey guys, when jumping a motorcycle engine from a car, it's best to not have the car running. The higher voltage of the car system while running can damage the bike's electrical systems. Just fyi! An expensive lesson I learned.
You really need to jet up the carb and shim the needle if you have an open exhaust like that on a ninja 250. I've heard of you make an adapter a crf250 cr flatslide carb really wakes these engines up
my motorcycle has the same problem with the starter relay i normaly have to smack the side panel for the relay to loose connection and stop the starter
Taller gears?
Don't kno if you still own it. Electric cyliniode shift, you just push a button for upshifts & down.
It looked slow and sluggish before y’all worked out the kinks now it looks like it rips
I want it
Stiffen up de suspension please
Just not running 100% , sounds like the carbs need balanced. Adjust the clutch and change rear axle sprocket .
#needsaswaybar
Looks like the driver side is leaning alot lower. !
Man that geared way low. There are a few other 250 swapped buggies and karts floating around RUclips and they a lot more get up and go for sure.
This doesn't look like an electric kart.
Never jump a small engine like this with your car. It may work but the amperage is way too high. I COULD fry the electronics for the engine. Use a jump box set to low or charged lawn and garden tractor battery. Look into it if you don't believe me. Add a return spring to your shifter or get an air shift setup if you wanna be amazing.
Suspension next... yikes!
Can't jump a motorcycle battery off a car battery, or so I've been told. Very different power levels
How in the world are these kids affording all this new stuff with only 144K subs, must have family money.
single cable will not work right you need 2 cable to work. one so when you push your shifter forewed it pulls shifter up on engine and the other cable so when you poll back it pulls the shifter down on the engine why they have it pull back for gear up i dont know that makes no sense to me
First
@Alexis Pagé no one cares about you
I care. Nice job.
i wanna build a small car with a full interior and gullwing doors with a ninja 650 in it. its gonna be street legal
Your gearing is not the best
Jesus dude why immediately rape it right off a cold start?? Pure stupidity dudes...... that is exactly how you wear your piston rings early and scorch your cylinder walls..... common sense you guys....
So much noise for so little work.
dan bro pls cut your hair, im begging.
why do you make us watch you weld ? After about 3 micro seconds , it's just wasted content. we know you are welding something , so just get on with it.
Man I love this build guys really great job that 250 engine gets it going pretty quick to
Man that thing is ripping heck ya
