I have the 4th (original G1 Optimus ) and the 5th (KBB mp10V optimus) at the moment. The last one (weijiang mpp10 oversized optimus is on the way). Looking at this video, the mp01 did not age well. Falling apart several times during transformation.
The 8th (by Weijiang) one costs less than half of the 6th and 7th (both Takara) and is an awesome figure if you want to have a good G1 style Optimus for display.
