And if you want to see hell on Earth, google Kensington Avenue, Pennsylvania, USA. And they did not go through revolution, civil war, communism, second world war, nothing! They just went stupid. Things in Russia are getting better and better.
Vladivostok has a great potential for trade and tourism because of its location. It could be the hub but it has to be managed properly. The weather is a downside but.... I remain optimistic. Good luck from Poland🇵🇱🇷🇺
In my travels around Russia, I actually had the most friendly experiences in the “Gopnik” areas; the young people and men would often invite me to sit down and have a beer with them as I am clearly a foreigner: they were very curious about why an Aussie was in their area. I travelled to the eastern factory district of Moscow; and also visited the outskirts of Vladimir: the rougher sides. The most unfriendly situation I experienced was in central Moscow dealing with snobby muscovites 😂. However I would never visit ghetto areas in the USA or Australia: as I would likely get shot. Gopniks speak interesting Russian too; I learned to use the word “ хата» instead of “дом». Yes even in Vladimir there are men listening to the radio in the middle of the day,; and the buildings are similar too.
Lisa, come to California and I will take you to downtown Los Angeles, or maybe to San Francisco to the tenderloin district, you'll see what a bad area is. I would live in your Silent Hill area. I see babushkas and children; it can't be that bad.

The buildings look a bit stale and dilapidated, but the area is oddly clean and there’s even playgrounds without vandalism. Some parts of Toronto have buildings that look fancy and new but within 5 years are falling apart, have graffiti, and trash is strewn about without any civic pride. It’s nice they plant flowers and people at least attempt to keep it modestly nice, a lot of the time here even places like Brampton you have houses with overgrown grass, trash and furniture on lawns, and it looks horrible! I like how fat and lovable the cats are :)

А эти советские районы - наоборот, родные, словно из Иронии судьбы, зелёные, с деревьями и людьми, с простыми человеческими судьбами. В таких районах дышится свободнее! И в прямом и в переносном смыслах! Да, не без недостатков, есть что подкрасить, подштукатурить, но в целом вполне себе обустроенные районы. Пьянь есть везде, и асоциальные элементы, и в Брежневках, и на Арбате. По поводу Миши Круга, да, не самая изысканная музыка, на любителя, как и российский рэп, я тоже это не люблю. Но насколько я помню Лиза танцевала в клубе под Инстасамку, а это ещё хуже в плане музыкальных предпочтений!))

We see a ll of litter in down trodden urban areas of UK . I live in Cardiff close to the football stadium and collect litter. In Cardiff the kids throw KFC boxes and Mcdonlds waste. The wind picks it up and seagulls spread it around. Vladivostok seems quite clean.

В твоём видео я лишь увидела старые типовые дома которых в России много, есть такая черта что люди добивающиеся успеха начинают строить свою жизнь в новом месте и абсолютно не интересуются тем местом где они выросли отбрасывая их как скорлупу. Надеюсь санкции частично помогут таким людям тратить деньги внутри страны на развитие разных бизнесов, а не вывода накоплений в офшоры. I know that for some people it always have been (cause now and from long time there is others kinds of inflations and "constructions") to expensive for them to live in my city. My city is like the paradise for people not from there or from around. Ghetto can be used as an expression that mean neighborhood or Neighborhood.

В твоём видео я лишь увидела старые типовые дома которых в России много, есть такая черта что люди добивающиеся успеха начинают строить свою жизнь в новом месте и абсолютно не интересуются тем местом где они выросли отбрасывая их как скорлупу.
