Excellent format of teaching us! Love the background and human images, they are beautiful and peaceful Thanks a millions for your clear teaching techniques! ❤
I was just talking about this today at work. When I was nine years old I travelled 240 miles on an overnight bus. I had to change busses and walk through a strange city in the early hours to another station. I arrived in a large city at 6am found my way to another station and caught a bus to a country village where my Grandmother lived , another 30 mile journey. I arrived at my Grandmother's house with a heavy case that I had carried almost a mile from the main road. Believe it or not, my Grandmother was shocked to see me as she had no idea that I was visiting her. 🤔A few weeks later I repeated the journey but this time in reverse, arriving home early in the morning. 😮 Good luck with your Spanish learning.
@@grahamoliver4875 Wow, that was a huge adventure for you at such a young age- it must have been terrifying sometimes? Where was this, I'm intrigued! Thank you for the good wishes, I am really enjoying learning Spanish, one of my life goals and living here too! I wish you all the best in your every endeavour!
@@lioness-kushlumumba4040if you mean by living here, you live in Spain I'm so jealous.😿 My journey was in England. My parents divorced when I was six and as the only male in the house I had to grow up quickly. The journey started in Hanley bus station in Stoke on Trent. I changed busses in Leeds, a city in Yorkshire. I continued to Newcastle in Northumberland where I had to find the local bus station. I then travelled about 30 miles to a place called Hadston, close to Amble by the sea. To tell the truth my Grandmother 😻 was such a special person that I f the only way I could see her was to walk the whole distance from Stoke on Trent, I would have found the strength. Thanks for the reply and the good wishes. Wishing you a glorious life in Spain. (I've even called one of my cats Frigiliana 🐈)
I was looking for something I can use for retelling, your videos just hit the point 😊 I'm gonna retell these stories to my Spanish tutor ❤ Most of the videos for beginners I've seen so far were really boring(( so thanks again!
This! As this is my 2nd day and 2nd video to watch, I had to remind myself all the time that the story has no sad ending and that everything is going to be okay (tranquila, tranquila) hahahah.
He olvidado la ultima pregunta..
I don't like this format as well. I prefer to hear the story first without the translation, then with the translation and finally without the translation or subtitles. I find by the time I get to the final third listening I understand a lot of what I have heard. Please go back to the way you have done the others cause it works. For those who prefer this way they can start at the translation so there is nothing lost. Also it is less of an academic exercise which is precisely why it works. The brain is doing all the work without it being directed academically, it is more acquiring the language rather than learning the language.
😂 I understand it all without captions I would suggest getting used to listening to Spanish. It’s a whole skill within itself On top of that keep building on basic vocabulary

Great story although it is difficult to imagine an eight years old going on their own by train to the city!

I wish Martin had been about 18 instead of 8.
Yes, it was a very strange choice they made there.
Do have any reason which you make all sentences with uppercase?
Love this way of learning- thank you! But can you please have the speakers not sound like they’re telling depressing stories!?
