Ganguram, Kakatua, and Nrusingha are three of the most popular stores. Kakatua's quality has deteriorated in recent times. Even the most devoted fans of Kakatua's khaja are diverting their support elsewhere. Ganguram and Nrusingha are fine, however there is an issue. Both brands have several fakes, which is both mind-boggling and confusing.
This time, we're going to show you the Original Nrusingha Sweets near the Jagannath temple, which serves some of the tastiest khajas in Puri.
We decided to test it out. The shop has moved from its original location to Padmini Lodge, which is also near to the Temple. Padmini Lodge is a landmark, and the shop can be found on the ground floor of the same building.
They sell four different qualities of khaja, ranging from Rs.180/- a kg to Rs.500/ a kg and that's fried in pure ghee. The taste was excellent, khajas were crisp and the sweetness was mild and there was a distinct flavor of fine quality ghee. Highly recommended if you are in Puri and searching for some good Khaja.
