- Vintage cars require serious but rewarding commitment. The pre-war variety, however, demand a level of commitment bordering on devotion. With parts nearly impossible to find and expertise becoming rarer by each day, living with and driving a pre-war car means intimate involvement in every aspect of your car's maintenance and upkeep. Roberto Vesco has been collecting, restoring and driving pre-war cars for more than 35 years, but the satisfaction and joy that he experiences as a result is unparalleled. His story takes place in the beautiful landscape surrounding Lage Iseo, Italy near the starting point of the Mille Miglia in Brescia. This very special Fiat 514 has been a protagonist of this historic race on multiple occasions and has even placed first.

Again, a fantastic film...
cars like these are the once i first fell in love. i used to have a die cast toy model of the coca cola truck with the same body style
In addition to Italy, U.S., Germany, and France, I'd suggest you film in Japan as well. Keep the history and flavor of cars revolving/evolving!
Thank you PetroliciousCo. for bringing joy to petrol-heads around the world. Whether you're into old-school, muscle cars, European exotics or Japanese drifters, it brings people closer together. Discussing whether you're favourite car is the best, it doesn't matter. At the end of the day, it makes me proud to be a petrol head
P.S. could you make a video on the Ferraro F40, it would make my day
Cheers, a loyal fan
Thank you Roberto for sharing your beautiful Fiat and passion. Safe travels.
Typically if all gears grind, you are doing it wrong. You have to double clutch transmissions with straight cut gears. There are no synchros, and the gears don't mesh like nearer transmissions.
Love the video though, and beautiful looking car.
And you can clearly hear the "whining" of the straight cut gears. Lack of notions about the car?
holly shit!! thats car is simply awesome. drive this car you feel like a gatsby ;))
Fantastic! Both car and channel.
Beautiful video, my father has worked in SIATA for many years
"the windshield wipers are like toothbrushes" hahaha!
Da appassionato del' marchio Fiat, posso solo ringraziare questo signore per la sua prova di questa bellissima Fiat 514
pura poesia. bellissima.
Another great episode, beautiful car.
They're easy to find on RUclips
Well done as always, and the car is absolutely stunning!
Absolutely beautiful! The car, the video and the owner's narrative - all beautiful!
The passion and the quality of your short stories are priceless THANK YOU for letting us have a glimpse of your genius Petrolicious. BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO!!!
what a car, and what a video
Frizzione, frizzione.
Fantastico!
Meravigliosa! meravigliosi tempi di prima!
Lovely
Anyone else think that the music on the latest episodes has been pretty bad compared to the initial episodes?
One more week to see another of your fantstic videos? many of us can not wait so long!!! thank you very much, and i really mean it! By far the best channel for real petrolheads on Utube. Love all the videos., the Americans and the Italians..a perfect combinatinon. I agree with Anchit, a video with the 33 Stradale will be remarkable..that litle car is really special ( i have some pictures inside of the car that belongs to the Alfa museum, 2 years ago, here in Oporto, during a classic car show).
I follow this comment! Absolutely love the lines of this car!
Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 stradale! Carpr0n!
I'm one of few that understand what he say without reading
Most European speak 2-3 languages. A LOT speak English, French and Italian. You only find a lack of international knowledge and being multilingual in the US.
Fantastico video !
Would you buy a collector car that hit & killed a pregnant woman because the driver was drunk? Would that factor in to your decision?
It' s quite thrilling, this footage having been made a few chilometers far from the town where I live, Brescia. Perhaps Petrolicious has not only good Italian connections, but an Italian soul.
Btw,I don't want to be picky but I guess the wheels are not "rouge" ( red) but Rudge, of Rudge Whitworth fame.
ECCEZZIONALE! Thank you for all this video, i'm very glad that lot of them come from italy or speak about italian cars
Again, a fantastic film...
Beautiful, by far the best channel for bringing pure passion and emotion to the table. Thank You dearly :0)
Find a Lotus Seven owner! :)
But this car is better than a new car in every possible way.
That car and the scenery he's driving through are beautiful.
very good work on the translation from the italian :)
Shame it was so dull weather wise...but what a car
Well that was just flat out amazing.
no dislikes, let's keep it like that.
WE'RE GOIN' A MILE A MINUTE!!
perfect, as always
Lighten up.
I agree.
Awesome.
Awesome!
Ha Ha!...This is NOT a new car!
New cars are safer, affordable, more reliable, ergonomic, efficient and longer lasting.
It is good to see how far we have come in automotive technology.
"Ferri vecchi" lo hanno tradotto "car parts" 😂
