That's a medium armor set, not heavy. While yes, it does have decent damage reduction, it doesn't have the toughness that an actual heavy set provides, which may or may not matter to you if you are fond of actually being able to block without your Ki being demolished. At minimum, if you block a lot, you need at least 200 toughness. 100, 200 and 300 are the breakpoints, but each point over 100 adds to your Ki reduction on block. Still a good set for the build, but I just wanted to clarify that for you.
Overlooked the fact that it is medium. Doesnt matter that much for this build. Ye, i know how toughness works but thanks for clarifying. Im sure others will find your comment helpful.
I picked the switchglave first and wasn’t really enjoying the move set but after awhile I it clicked for me and now it’s my favorite weapon. Especially in low stance, it’s DPS is crazy. I’m an amateur when it comes to proper builds though so I’m just learning as I go. I’m concentrating on magic to build my damage but I’m not getting near this amount of damage as this video is showing. I’ll keep grinding. This game is really fun.
Tengen "Swag-gotchu" Kujaku still OP nice...I'm praying we get more switchglaive designs in DLC cause despite the Dragon looking cool AF it's not fun to use the same one for the "entire" game.(I found one in the 3rd mission and have been seeing them drop everywhere in revenants)
Same but pay attention to Tatenashi requirements and match them. If you are going for tatenashi then Axe as secondary to get Battle focus and Adamantine buffs. In that case steel talisman is not needed.
I wish that I could use any of these builds. But I can’t play in anything but ultra-light/no armor. Can you suggest some light builds? I noticed nearly every build is heavyweight.
Light armor builds offer less survivability and most OP builds require use of active skills to do massive damage and to do so you are gonna take damage because they usually have animation that plays out which makes you vulnerable.
@@quiettimegaming3642 No light sets are decent for non ninjutsu builds sadly. I know light armor can work with spear since you'll have a shit load of health but it isnt the most optimal unless again you have ninjutsu
Thomas Hamilton my guess is you haven’t started forging your own armor specifically into sets based around your stats. Always upgrade your gear every two -3 stages tops that will make the red swords go down in difficulty. If not gear always keep pace with your weapon level.
@@Godson1019 cheers mate not ive not forged any armour ill have a look at that i just presumed you were given better levelled stuff . i do really like the game but there is alot of mechanics to learn im still not totally to grips with soul cores anx stuff .thanks
Jan Staadegaard I don’t want to put a link on his channel. However you can absolutely type those words into the RUclips search bar comined with nioh 2 and you will find what you seek.

Will you be making a video of an endgame switchglaive build?
What's the 2nd weapon you choose to go with your switchblade?
I’m doing a kusa/Switchglaive build
Same . Pretty fun combo
Can't wait for the next stream.
Thank you!!!!!!!

Where do you get that armor set?
4th or 5th region random drop i think
@@rpgdivision definitely 5th then, im in the first mission of 5th now and i havent found it yet

RPG Division that sucks... I was hoping there were some legendary lightweight sets that weren’t Shinobi/ninjitsu based.
I mean, it makes sense..

Will this game come to PC ?
TheDarkLegends in the Fall
How do you take almost no damage?
I have used this guide quite a while back. Is this build still viable now?
To some extent yes. Making a new one now
@@rpgdivision oh... and i Finish this set Today.. i thought its the Best at mid :(
@@rpgdivision Looking forward to your new build. Wil it be released still? Thanks
Do you or anyone know where to acquire the akechi chikakage?
Oh I’m level 38 and wondering why I’m struggling

@@ActaMovies check out fighting cowboy, he has one.
Can this build work with middle stance?
Only high but you can switch to mid and then to high after every divine retribution. It takes practice but it is doable.
