Well, I cant believe I actually found an instructional c++ asmr video. The sounds are very well adjusted as well. Both the whispers and the typing sounds are just right. Not too light, not too heavy 👌🏻

It's been ages since the last programming video! I missed this series, but I didn't think it'd ever come back. Also, your husband's puns are peak dad joke level. Very tasteful.
One of the cool things you can do with std allocators is provide custom allocators as the second template parameter. One of the things this allows you to do is to customize the type used for the index or size_type. For example, normally size_type is unsigned int, but you can change it to just int, cutting in half the range of indexes, or even make the size_type signed char/int8_t, making max index only 127 or char/uint8_t or max index 255 maybe even do long long or unsigned long long/int64_t or uint64_t but better be sure you are on 64 bit machine, though this could freeze your computer if you try to fill it up as it will use up all the ram then all virtual ram on harddrive then you will run out and your computer will freeze up and you will have to restart your computer.
Sequence containers are not about whether the elements are stored in order; for example you can have hash tables (e.g. std::unordered_map) which are not sequence containers, but they won't be ordered upon element insertion. On the other hand, std::deque is a sequence container which accepts efficient insertion in the front, and std::list which accepts efficient insertion anywhere. Probably the clearest distinction between sequence containers and other kinds of containers is that in sequence containers we only access objects by their position -- the first element, the second element, and so on -- whereas with associative and unordered associative containers we typically access elements by their key. The formal definition is that a sequence container must satisfy the SequenceContainer requirement specified in the standard, which informally describes that sequence containers accept the kinds of operations that make sense for sequences, such as appending a list of elements, making a container with n copies of an object, erasing a subsequence, reassigning values in a subsequence, and so on.
Some quick tips: If using C++17 or above, you can use structured bindings to simplify iterating through and accessing associative containers: for (auto &[key, value] : mymap) { . . . } if (auto it = mymap.find(''boo"); it != end(mymap)) { auto &[key, value] = *it; . . . } Avoid accessing map-like containers with square brackets [ ]. The reason is that it'll insert an empty element if not present! Most of the time, you just want to lookup elements, and accessing elements that don't exist should throw an exception, so this kind of access can hide bugs. Also, it's slower, since it first inserts an empty element and then overwrites it.
computer programming was my first attempted major freshman year of college in 2000 and wow was i nowhere near ready to handle it. this gives me scary flashbacks haha but i still lov ya
I really aspire to become a programmer! I’ve dabbled in HTML and Java and took a C++ class at my high school, but I feel like I still have so much to learn! Apparently, people don’t like C++? I didn’t enjoy learning it to be honest, but that is mostly because my teacher was such a bore. I really see the potential for the language even if it isn’t the most fun. I appreciate your videos, it helps out a beginner like me. Also, what are you typing on in this video? I’ve only used Online GDB, do you recommend a certain software?
I used Sublime Text for the cout part, but normally I just code right in the terminal. I’ve heard visual studio is nice though! Thank you for watching :)
