A car like a brick, hood is longer than a king's dining table, the whole car is bigger than a dining room... but man, how it looks so sharp and elegant when it shows up its profile. Fantastic.
You are quite right on that! My 68 Modified RR at 19 years old made me feel invincible and king of speed in my small city of Thornton, Colorado. 1976 to 1980. 383 ci. , Hurst 3sp competition shifter automatic, Headers, 4.11 rear-end gears ! It was a nightmare for my family and Neighborhood, but lots of fun For me and my friends. 1/4 mile In 11.3 seconds.
@francoisbedard7394 AMC Javelin , to me was always a great styling and interesting muscle car. I had no idea As to their engine sizes or performance. But liked them more than Chevelle s. Went on a week-long fishing trip at a huge lake in Canada in late 60s. Had A wonderful time and enjoyed midnight Sunsets , that was strange and different.
Legend has it that he spends more time cranking that car then the car actually runs. Why do you have to crank old dodge and Chryslers for like six days before they run????
@@danw6014 ROTFLMMFAO, yeah right.... more like Mopar junk. All my built BBC fire right up, but friends Mopar crank forever. Any engine that doesn't fire right up has something wrong.
Graduated hs 1978. All our cars were muscle cars from the 60’s and early 70’s because they were used cars we could afford. Almost daily we’d arrive early to school and challenge someone. We were a small rural school w/57 people in my class. We’d go about a mile to the farm to market road where we had painted stripes for a quarter mile. Lots of fun. 72 firebird 72 chevelle ss 70 camero 67 gto 69 gtx 440w/6 pk 69 mustang fastback that’s some of the cars we had.
I graduated in 78, and as much as I ever knew about roadrunners back then since we all drove those cars to school it never had Chrome on the tailgate that was a GTX thing
Incorrect. Roadrunner had the decor package that had the same panel as a Satellite. GTX panel was slightly different. As I recall, all hardtops got the decor package, thus the stainless panel. Hardtops it was optional
That was cool but he did that with the engine cold. Bad boy! Heat soak issues on start up. Not that hard to fix. Great looking year. Bye bye black bird!
mine was silver/blk stripes would do 138 in the quarter wrecked it end over end and side by side 568 ft Petty style no seat belt and im hear to tell you your looking @ hell through the windshield 🤪

Most cars were big back then. I loved Road Runners
Was this the first time this guy saw a muscle car?
"Guy?!?!?!" 🤔 🤔 🤔
I'd like to listen to the car. Not "wow wee, wooo." " Oh my God "
😂🤣
The guy filming sounded like Cousin Eddy in Vegas Vacation when he met Wayne Newton.
Or the scene where Clark tells him how much he lost at the casino.
A car like this can make a grown man cry🔥❤️

To fill up the great big Carters sitting on top of a factory built racing engine.

It helped that gas only cost $0.50. 😂😂
this teen has been driving a 4 cylinder rice burner. Has no idea what a good American v-8 is.
She sure was excited about the noise

Oh yes how about that!
The good old classic Chrysler
3 start and dies that brings back some memories.
This is awesome!!!
This dude sets the bar for homosexual commentary
Pretty sure this is a special needs person recording / publishing the video.
Oooh. I like your new video.
I'm glad!
The observers across the street must be Chevy guys...🤔
You’re wrong and don’t deflect rice burner fan! That was you squealing and commenting!
Neighbors must love you.
Stop the feminist screaming 🫣
I like how you exaggerate on your neighbor
Damn near as many hot rodders in British Columbia as there is in Southern California

Guy filming deep into the spectrum?
Really,...that's what you call going bananas. You have no idea !
so was this the very first time a camera man saw a lame burn out?
Some charge in..some run over the top..
Warren? From Something About Mary?
Turn the film in to "Inside Drag Racing" and get you a free t-shirt.
You don't park it outside do ya The Rapid Transit System nothing like it life long Mopar man and I'm 68 😎💪💪🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷
Let the vehicle make noise...not you...
Omg i like cheetos derp derp
What's considered a super stock?
Superstock is the class just below Prostock. Before Prostock (1971?) You couldn't race a subcompact car with a big block engine.
🍀Sick 😎✌️
You just had to ruin the video with your "whoa's" ! Thanks for nothin !
Shut up, you ruined it.
I saw go bananas hemi in 1979 just as a daily driver .
