the first item is a machinist jack. used to support items held in a mill vice to prevent movement of the work piece during machining.

I believe the last item is for creating small avalanches so that huge avalanches don't build up too much and create an even larger disaster.

I had a sneaking suspicion that was a communion set. Glad I was right.
The arrow on the shell casing is a 'broadarrow' mark indicating that it was government issue, It is used on all military items in the U.K.

Soldiers brought home many things from the wars. This could be an example of that.

5:20. Fun fact. Ever hear the phrase “waiting on tenterhooks” used when someone is anxiously awaiting something? Those (very) sharp pins at the ends are tenterhooks. As sharp as they are (trust me, I’ve used them and they’re wicked), you could see that waiting perched on them would be very uncomfortable.

I really have to disagree with the description of the first item. It is a cement anchor. Drill a hole int the cement and drop it in. As you tighten a nut down on top, it pulls the wedge shape insert into the anchor to expand it in the hole. Note wedge to keep it from turning as you tighten the nut when it pulls into the barrel.

@@LazyIRanch With the automated American accent voice over, it's real easy to jump to assumptions about potentially ambiguous words and geographical regions. Like you, I immediately thought of Georgia State. The original colony of Georgia was founded by a man from my home town in England. His name wasn't George - maybe he was confused where he was too? :)

Yeah I found that a little fishy my self. It looks like an anchor set. I used simular items to set anchors into concrete so that I could bolt something to the concrete.

When I watch these videos I am so thankful you tube has a ten second jump feature. The fact that you have not looked at it for ten years is of no consequence to identifying what it is.
