Just like stephen from "the trading channel" will say profitable trading is creating a statistical advantage over the market. Like trading a 40% winrate strategy with a 3:1 risk reward
But the problem of beginners like me is sticking to one strategy that can provide that advantage. we keep looking for strategy with higher win rates
And i really appreciate the fact that trader nick is able to show us his track record and tell us the truth

Once M15 bounces my way. i'm good.

Trading is hard because psychologically most people (everyone) hates losing and find it extremely difficult to accept it and also it doesn’t make sense to most people that you can lose more than you win and still be profitable.
I feel when you accept it and trust and know system like the back of your hand, that’s when trading becomes “easier” rewarding and fun.

16:50 , yes Nick, SMC way of trading is what you missing. But you're already profitable so all good. it's the same as your trading: low win rate, high RR. 20RR is possible, and often, but with a multiple losses of -1RR before that.

Ohhh and the higher win ratio strategies usually have a way lower pip count you get....maybe they get 75% of all trades but when you get one its way better than their 5 little ones...plus the spreads will eat your lunch if you dont watch it doing those little trades...may take several pips to cover your broker and well the more you do the more you paying your broker and over time it really adds up... anyway be good and happy trading.

Made it. Love your strategy and theory behind it. When i started with trading before i even knew about this style i made such a strategy by myself and i just love it as much as i hate it. Because the drawdowns can take for a very very long time and you just need the nerves to not get emotionaly broken at that time. On the other side it is just loveeeelyyyyy to catch this 7R, 10R etc. trades
Have you ever considered using the same strategy but with selling half of your position at 1.2? It might help you to to lessen the drawdown while keeping much of the upside.

50 moving average is also good for trend trading, the problem as usual is the consolidating markets but still 50 ma can net the profits with the trending markets, same for 400 ma but just the time is long for you to sit with the computer automation for 400 ma would work
I knew a guy who had a 70 % winrate and his minimum wins were 1 to 5 risk reward then I woke up, yeah is imposible to do that unless you are a bank that moves the market there are 4 path in trading 1 - Scalping small risk small reward with hight winrate 2 - Scalping small risk hight reward with low winrate 3 and 4 the same but swing trading

I am currently papertrading forex break and re test strategy. Have been for a while! I like to trail my stop so I always at least make a profit even if its 1:1 I'm happy with that for now.
