Nick, I’m kinda starting to think of you as a John Peel of the synth electronic music world in a weird way. Can’t put my finger on it exactly but it’s definitely there .Thank you
It made me drift off into a dream where Nick joined forces with Mike Batt in a group called the Batts and wrote a song called 'Crazy' and the DJ announced; "Here is the latest Batt's hit, 'Crazy!'
This was fab.... that SV-1/NTS combo is making me interested in creating something similar on Quadrantid Swarm and Microvolt 3900; I am certain once get into it, it will be very different.
Nick can you please show any looping function that the Blue Box has? Plug 3 or 4 synths up into it and get them looping, do some overdubbing, remove some tracks from the loop to show if we can build a song in it that way. I am told it can, but Loopop's review didn't show it.
OPSIX is the first FM synth that sounds pleasant to me, not sure what they did different from maybe other than the UI which enables for easier programming when it comes to patches.
LOVE that organ! Did you program it yourself, or is it stock? I'm waiting for Sweetwater to get the first shipment of OpSix in, so I can get my pre-ordered one. :) Apparently January, now. But I have a Quantum I just got to tide me over. :)
That Opsix is a nice way to get FM sounds. The drawbar style is a particularly nice touch. The Bluebox seems like it has a lot of potential too, but it's unfortunate that it doesn't function as an audio interface. It probably could, with a little extra code added to the firmware, but it doesn't. Seems like a big missed opportunity.
Great Jam! Still waiting on that ambient album ;) You should do a jam with the akai timbre wolf, rhythm wolf & tom cat, would be fun to see you juggling to keep them all in tune
Singing last Christmas over this fits perfectly actually..
That OP-six sounds really Nice!
Haha! it actually does!
Omg.. every holiday my wife and I battle playing last Christmas until the next holiday.
Don't give copyright trolls ideas ;)
Man o man when that drumbrute kicks in. Lovely. I really enjoyed each individual piece of gear in this one.
That sounded rather delicious Nick.

Another friday fun that is just amazing! Well done
Just lovely!
Thank you Nick.
These Friday Jams are just incredible. Thank you for this one, Nick! Got my Keystep Pro in today, so I suspect a lot of jamming this weekend ;-)

Great tune boss. Sv1 sounds epic. Enjoyed that.
wonderful
Drumbrute hanging over the edge at an angle is killing me.
I mean the impact has to come from somewhere lol.
@@Mr.Marbles LMAO
Great shtuff as usual. This one should be on next EP. “Stab” off the last one is one of favourite tunes. Great for the drive home from work.
I can’t wait for the opsix review, this synth is so amazing and so 90ies
One of your best jams. And with drums! Nice one 👍
Pretty cool! Cheers!
Ooh...this is great.
Right up my alley. Thanks for this!

SV1 patch sounds like that LCD Soundsystem modular synth bass patch
Wow, that ending. We need that uploaded to something like SoundCloud. 👍🏻
Lovely jam Nick!
More jams plz Nick
Pretty badass little inspirational jam piece there. 👌🏻
Nick is the man. These are always great.
Always inspirational.
Casual, yet beefy!
Just beautiful, our dear sir Nick 😊✌👌
dang I'm really tempted to get an opsix
thanks Nic great Jam
On sonic talk your complaining that you cant make music for the album. That sounded great man.
lovely

Excellent
Nick, nice to see your SV-1 dusted off. ;)
This jam is special
Very, very nice!
Nick Batt + FridayFunSynthJam = LIKE!
OPSIX is the first FM synth that sounds pleasant to me, not sure what they did different from maybe other than the UI which enables for easier programming when it comes to patches.
Filters, effects, multiple modulation modes
Very nice
Does sound good
I'd love to know if you can mix up modes on the Opsix.
Nick, please record a jam and publish on SoundCloud pleeeeeeaaaaase!
2:03 Lifeforms SV-1 patch sounds like Ozar Midrashim to my ears.
Nick Batt always delivers
pretty cool
Also works with Little Drummer Boy #Christmasvibe

Me too! I had this playing in the background, I thought he had something else doing the organ it sounded so good. Had to open to see what it was lol.
No just preset s on this jam. No 1 bank 1 and no 14 (organ)
Drumbrute balancing precariously... don't let it "Impact" with the floor!
Nice jam, looking forward to the OPSIX review.
Aggressive drums!
Nice a White Roland JD-XI ❤️

if the hardware is designed for it, it's not simply a matter of code
Nick, you have to release more of your stuf as an artist!
Figure what gear I want
Great Jam! Still waiting on that ambient album ;)
