- In this review we take a look at a USB Electric Eraser. We have reviewed a couple of battery erasers but in this review we are checking out if there is a performance difference between the USB and Battery erasers and also the design and comfort of this particular USB Eraser.
Its important to note that there are a lot of USB and Battery Operated erasers, the USB Eraser on review in this video is Tihoo, however there are erasers that look identical to this eraser but with a different name stamped on the side. Please don't think that the only USB Eraser you can buy is the specific named eraser on review. Although I have not tested the other erasers with different names an educated guess would say they are the same products

You must have read my mind. Just yesterday I put one in my Amazon cart. It was a USB one but have to check on the brand. Thanks brunches! 💜
Very informative review. Speaking as someone who happens to have hand issues. The shape of this eraser would be beneficial to me and I’m looking for a new one my old one is battery operated and the metal little piece that holds the eraser is worn out (from using it so much) it doesn’t grip anymore it’s a Derwent so now I might as well replace it with one that is USB and also holds the smaller sized erasers. That would be great for when I’m drawing to have both options.
Great video.
Great review. I have used one of these USB erasers for quite a while now and have got to say that it has been great to use particularly as it also has the option to use the smaller erasers as well as not having to worry about replacing batteries. The one I have is branded as an Arteco and I also have the other one and that is branded as an Eono but after doing a bit of research I found that both of these are made by a company called Tenwin and are then re-branded so if anyone sees the same thing with a different name on it, it is likely to be the same product and this also applies for the eraser refills. Again thanks for a great review and hope that this is also of help.
I’ve been considering getting one of these to save on batteries. Thank you!!
Thank you for the review I'm new to adult colouring and wanted to buy my first 1 so I'm going to purchase the usb 1
The battery one is noisier because the eraser is not centered and it slapping the paper. I have quite a few battery ones from various brands and all of them have the same issue and that is the buttons. I can not work with them recessed or very flat. So I build them up with Sugru.
Am staring at my trusty Derwent which is not that precise and a bit wasteful of refills compared to this model. The Tihoo looks nice, but I can't justify sending an entire unit to landfill, when it still works well enough for my simple needs.
One option I would like to see is replacement holders - are they out there? I've tried many keywords on Amazon and ebay but haven't hit the jackpot. Would hate for the only holder to bend, break or go missing.
Thank you for an interesting review. As one of those people with arthritis, I'm interested in knowing if the USB eraser is lighter in weight than the battery operated one. Thanks again
I have both the one with the battery is heavier. What I like about the white one low sound and the on button you hardly have to press it a light touch turns it on, For me that makes it much easier to work with. I really like the usb one best.
Thank you for the review and actually for all the reviews you do! As usual very helpful. I wanted to ask you if you plan to test italian Giotto colored pencils of the Stilnovo range, there is set of 50 colors plus an additional of 12 skin tones colors. I remember you reviewed their di Natura set, the lead should be the same, they just added more colors, and the design of the pencil is different.
Oh I just bought one from aliexpress, great timing haha
Here's another one for you same concept by Afmat has two eraser sizes one is as small is the tombo mono the other is bigger. USB charged and virtually identical to the Tihoo just a fyi ;)
the black unit is noisy and its noise is like carving or polishing a steel / metal or wood surface haha!
