Great to see you back with some new videos it’s been way to long since the last ones you released, Its always very enjoyable watching your outstanding videos so hopefully it won’t be long until you release the rest of the videos from your trip to Barcelona. I did laugh when you mentioned sailing to the the Isle of Wight instead of France. Take care, Safe travels and best wishes
Nice see you back and hope meet you on the ferry sometime and I'm Treating myself too a Brand New FH16 750 & Fidge Trailer for my Shelfish work too Spain Amigo😉
Not only are Buckingham involved with the Fulham stand( 2 years behind schedule) but they also have upcoming projects for west midlands trains for a couple of other projects, that are now in jepody. Oh I forgot I watch your videos and those of your 2 buddies K.C and Paul Frost, and may I say you all do a great job. Let's hope the issue with Buckingham is resolved soon and get the workers back on site.
Tip for parking in France and Spain to avoid getting broken into. Always lock cab with key. They have scanners that scan code if you use remote sometimes you don’t know they’ve done it. 👍🏻
Portsmouth Nr where l lived when l was in UK. Left Portsmouth 10yrs ago to retire to Greece. Used the fast cat on first journey out of Portsmouth. Interesting thing that. Cars only and not much space. Second time out of Portsmouth after a holiday back in uk. Had to go on the proper ferry. What a shambles ,not a clue. Had to use top deck. Drive up and park. I knew instantly they had done it wrong. Got to France and everyone had to turn round to use the same ramp as they got on with to get off. What a bun fight that was people reversing going forward and every which way. You had to laugh at it. Took an hr to get off the bloody boat. Never again ever. We went from the French port straight to le mans for the night then down to Lyons. Arrived there at night ,nightmare to get through, never again. Then down to Italy through the tunnel that you don't have to pay to use. Bit of a state needs decorating that's for sure. Then to your favorite ferry port. Nightmare to get round and very strange . But yer, great vid and Portsmouth doesn't look like it's changed. Why you always use Dover l Don't know. Portsmouth would seem the better bet. Plus l never saw one illegal immigrant on the French side at all. Either going or when we came back for holiday in uk. Great vid as always. Trying to get through 12 yrs of your vids. You have had quite a life. Guess you have seen it all to. Lovely to see driving from a different perspective. I take my hat off to you guys. How you get those rigs round some of those roads l don't know. Keep the vids coming great channel mate. Let me know when you are coming to Greece again. Would love to shake your hand and patras isn't that far away from me.
Another great video DTW! 👍🏻😀 I think I've been subscribed to you for something like 10 years now! 😲 I used to upload lorry videos under the channel name Seggons but have since repurposed the channel. It's been great to "share" the journey with you from Waitrose driver to angency worker to european coach driver to now european lorry driver! 😁 Keep up the content and I look forward to the next 10 years of your working life. 😂
Oh hey I wondered what happened to you as you blew up quickly, got in trouble with your company and then disappeared. Great to see you're still going in one way or another.
@DTWTheWanderingMuzungu I ended up leaving the driving industry and finding a rather special woman to which I'm still with almost 6 years on and now creating content with her and our (sometimes trusty) Land Rover. 😄
It was actually Cyprus the boat just went via Israel so I didn’t get off. It’ll be out no earlier than when the tv show starts broadcasting which is supposedly December. But it’s still in a queue so may be later than that.
@@osprey2k5 There’s two boats that sail from Greece one in Thessaloniki and the other I got from Lavrio. They then sail to Cyprus and Israel before coming back and starting the cycle again.
Apologies for my lack of knowledge here, between (4/5 mins) you are battling to get on a farm yard (or so it appears) Is this where stage equipment can be stored at random?
The vehicle decks are off limits during sailing and doors are locked. So you could hide in your truck but won’t be able to go anywhere else. It would be quite an issue if a fire broke out or the ship sunk on a vehicle deck that had no outside access.

Wouldn’t mind having a go in a 750.

Did the Mulsanne straight in an old 1200 Beetle on honeymoon - 15 minutes flat out! Great fun though
We stayed in a hotel at Maidstone on honeymoon prior to touring France - 51 years ago TODAY!

As they say “ It’s not the Kent you’re in, it’s the kent that stops you getting in”.
Another great vid.
Would you have to share a cabin with male lorry drivers if you were a femail or would you get one with just other females?
I’d imagine men and women would be segregated unless the ferry was packed and there was no other option.
Great to have another video, is there going be a video at some point about the trip you did to Israel 🇮🇱?
It was actually Cyprus the boat just went via Israel so I didn’t get off. It’ll be out no earlier than when the tv show starts broadcasting which is supposedly December. But it’s still in a queue so may be later than that.
So where does the ferry to Cyprus depart from to go via Israel as Israel is past Cyprus

As you do transport for events are you not exempted form the bans then
For certain events there are exemptions but I've heard you still need to get a permit which we don't have.
@@DTWTheWanderingMuzungu o ok thanks

There are a surprisingly large amount of stage and set companies that operate from small hard to reach places. Mostly because the lease is cheap.
I know you get a room on the ferry, but can you sleep in your truck as opposed to bunking with other drivers who may snore/fart all night?
