Isabeau being unfaithful to Charles is not more than fake news spread by the duke of Burgundy. And she was a doting mother who cared about her children like few royals did: remained close to them during their childhood, was personally buying gifts for her children (and husband btw), made sure her daughters were well educated. Isabeau maintained contact with all her children even after they grew up and left for their own households.
